Rocket Knight Priced, New Screens for PS3, XBox 360 and PC

229w ago - The upcoming downloadable game, Rocket Knight, finally got a price tag alongside new screens (below) for the PS3 entertainment system, XBox 360 console and PC.

To quote: According to Konami, the high-definition platformer costs 1200 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360 and $14.99 on the PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 3.

As previously reported, Rocket Knight will be released on May 12th for the PC and XBox 360 and May 18th on the PlayStation 3.

Konami also revealed five new screenshots showcasing a flight level from Rocket Knight.

Video: Rocket Racing PS3 and PSP Mini Comes to PSN Next Week

238w ago - Halfbrick's Phil Larsen has shared a video today showcasing Rocket Racing which will be coming to PSN as a PS3 and PSP Mini game next week.

To quote: [Register or Login to view links] is the next title to hit PSP minis from Halfbrick, and I'm excited to announce that it will be released next Thursday, March 11.

Rocket Racing has been developed from the ground up, combining high-speed futuristic racing with classic top-down gameplay, which is a perfect fit for minis.

Each track has been designed with a unique twist, suspended high in the air above the clouds and cityscapes to give players a light and almost surreal feeling as they drift around the crisp, detailed courses.

Challenge Mode is the main backbone of gameplay, giving players a number of tasks to complete over six different tiers. Completing once challenge with its specific objectives will unlock adjacent challenges along the tier, so players can choose their own path to the final race.





A key part of racing is the ability to grind. Grinding is a new concept which involves positioning your rockets against the outer walls of the tracks. This opposing force will give you a speed boost as well...

Rock Band 2 PS3 Software Update, Fan Feature Requests Added

245w ago - Today Rock Band 2 Lead Designer Dan Teasdale has announced that a new Rock Band 2 PS3 software update is on the way that includes some long-awaited fan feature requests.

To quote: I'm proud to announce that the Rock Band team has finalized a software update for Rock Band 2 on the PlayStation 3 that addresses some common feature requests from our fans.

We've also added some great new functionality that we think you'll be excited to try out when the software update arrives this Thursday.
