v1.0 Features:

1. No more typing command line.
2. No more editing conf file.
3. Support to create more than 10 types of pkg.
4. Support to load ContentID from pkg / auto-generate ContentID.
5. Manage pkg in one folder.

Tip: To find ContentID PSN Games (echo ContentID = XX0999-NPWR02172_00-PURCHASEDLICENSE>package.conf) for extracted games that don't have PS3_DISC.SFB for the ContentID there are three methods:

1. From PKG, you can use the creator and choose option 6 to load ContentID from PKG.
2. From EBOOT, you can open an EBOOT with a hex editor, search "NPD" in ascii, and you get it.
3. From EDAT contained in PSN...

102w ago - Following up on my previous revisions, I now present the final release of my PS3 CFW 4.XX+ .PKG Resigner Script v0.3.5 with the changes below.

CFW 4.xx .pkg Resigner Script v0.3.5 Changelog:

  • added error messages with description of the problem
  • script resets folders on finish
  • script resets folders on error
  • moved code to one .bat script
  • added timeouts to improve stability
  • improved UI and strings

Usage:

1. Extract folder inside the .rar
2. Run CFW 4.xx .pkg Resigner Script START.bat
3. Follow onscreen instructions

118w ago - Shortly following his last release, today PlayStation 3 developer PsDev has now updated PS3Tools GUI Edition to version 3.0 which now adds PS3 SPU emulation, SELF decryption and Debug PKG decryption as detailed below.

Originally by KDSBest, SPU emulation has been incorporated in my GUI. It was quite easy, we both coded our programs in C# (Sharp) so I didn't really have much trouble.

Self decryption is know possible. Just browse for your self/bin file...
