New Sony PS3 and PSN Releases for the Week of October 15th, 2013

62w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new PS3 and PSN releases for the upcoming week today, as follows:

The makers of The Walking Dead episodic game series return with their latest efforts in player-driven narrative. Prepare yourself for The Wolf Among Us, a five-episode series that debuts this Tuesday.

Set in the Fables comic universe, The Wolf Among Us tasks you with making critical choices as Bigby Wolf - former monster and now Sheriff of Fabletown, a world where the creatures of myth and lore live very real lives in our world.

Your decisions in The Wolf Among Us will shape the story as you work to unravel a brutal murder of a fellow Fable. How will you guide the course of this violent, hard-boiled thriller?

For those of you interested in a new JRPG adventure, Valhalla Knights 3 is also ready to launch, offering a massive quest set in a fantasy prison, where tyrannical minds and warrior criminals vie for control and - in many cases - survival.

And here's a little bonus: God of War: Ascension is making its way to PlayStation Store as a complete digital download. Bring Kratos back onto the battlefield. It's a good fit for him.

63w ago - Armature Studio Technical Director and Co-Founder Jack Mathews confirmed today that Injustice: Gods Among Us hits PlayStation Vita on November 12, 2013.

To quote: Armature Studio is proud to announce our next game for PS Vita, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, is hitting stores on November 12th.

When developing Injustice on Vita, our primary goal was to make sure it could hold its own next to its console counterpart.

The PS3 version has beautiful lighting, destructible environments, and - most importantly - 60 FPS fighting. We worked tirelessly to bring this experience to the handheld, and pulled out all the stops to push the PS Vita as hard as we could to make all of the above happen.

In addition to all of this, we've included ad-hoc multiplayer, traditional multiplayer over wifi, and touch controls to Story Mode and various S.T.A.R. Labs Missions.

Also, since this is the Ultimate Edition, the game will include all downloadable content that was released for the console edition.

Our friends at NetherRealm Studios made such a wonderful game in Injustice: Gods Among Us. We're just happy to be able to use our experience on prior PS Vita projects to take what they did and spare no expense in creating a version of the game that allows people...

Prepare to unravel supernatural mysteries, or relive two award-winning experiences of 2012. All this and more join the PlayStation lineup this week. Please charge your DualShocks in preparation.

Jodie Holmes has not lived her life alone. Since childhood, she has been followed by an unseen entity of incredible power. It's bound to her, and the mystery of this connection only deepens throughout her years. Experience Jodie's story on Tuesday when Beyond: Two Souls launches for PS3.

This story-driven thriller comes from the same team that brought you Heavy Rain in 2010, so you can expect the same quality character drama and visual spectacle.

And if you missed out on Borderlands 2 or Dishonored - two critically-acclaimed games that launched last year - you can finally see why gamers have been raving.

Both games are getting Game of the Year Editions this week, which gives you the opportunity to catch up on your gun-crazy loot hunting, or stealth-infused steampunk, respectively.
