Video: Capsule Force PS4 is Coming Early Next Year to PlayStation 4

200°
2w ago - Klobit President Eric Wenske posted up a PS4 video trailer today announcing that Capsule Force is coming early next year to PlayStation 4.

To quote: It is the year 1999. It is the future.

After years of intergalactic battles, technology gave birth to advanced, galaxy-capturing capsules - tools that Earth's World Leaders readily supplied to their intergalactic forces. But many of these forces have gone rogue and are now fighting amongst themselves for these powerful orbs.

Greetings, readers! We are excited to announce our newest game, Capsule Force, a retro anime-inspired, multiplayer, arcade experience for PS4!

klobit's core team is comprised of two main members from Austin, Texas - a sound designer/composer, and a tall man who designs, codes, and creates art. We were fortunate enough to have a talented artist help with character art and design.

As fans of retro Japanese games and anime, we really wanted to share our love of the days of cassette tapes and CRT televisions by pulling inspiration from both 80′s space anime aesthetics and the fast-paced nature of arcade games.

From energy beams, levitating characters, environment design, and music, we wanted to capture...

Gunsport Brings Competitive Cyberpunk Volleyball to PlayStation 4

50°
2w ago - Necrosoft Games Director Brandon Sheffield announced today that Gunsport brings competitive cyberpunk volleyball to PlayStation 4.

Below are the details, to quote: Hi! I'm Brandon Sheffield, director of Necrosoft Games. We've made a couple small things before, like Gunhouse for PlayStation mobile, but today we want to talk about a much bigger game - Gunsport, which we're bringing to PS4.

This is our first PS4 game, and we're pretty excited about it! 1080p pixel art! Heck yeah!

Gunsport is a 2-on-2 (or 1-on-1) competitive eSport for discerning individuals who like: cool times, hot times, rough times, and dangerous times. It's a cyberpunk vision of the neo future, like volleyball or sepak takraw with a shotgun and a laserbeam (and a bunch of other weapons, of course).

Gunsport is all about keeping the ball in the air. The more times the ball passes the net the more points it's worth, and the more dangerous it becomes to miss a shot. Shots are limited - the keeper, in the back, can't move, but gets two shots in a full clip. The striker, in the front, can move and jump, but only gets one shot.

Teams reload when the ball crosses the net toward them, but only then, so you have to economize your shots. Every time the ball crosses the net either direction it's worth...

New on EU PlayStation Store: LEGO Batman 3, PES 2015 and More

100°
2w ago - Sony's Jawad Ashraf of the European PlayStation Store Team is here with what's new on the EU PSN Store below today, which includes LEGO Batman 3, PES 2015, Assassin's Creed and more.

To quote: November: the time of year where we're drowning in great games vying for our time. The holidays couldn't come any sooner!

To kick things off is the LEGO-morphed caped crusader Batman and friends in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. DC Comics' big bad Brainiac is doing his thing of hoarding miniaturised worlds, but Batman and other DC Comics heroes are here to save the day.

Moving onto the pitch, Konamiis prepared to steal the crown in PES 2015. The first entry on PS4, PES 2015 boasts enhanced gameplay, amazing player likenesses and all the deep, satisfying football gameplay one could ask for.

Not wanting to settle on just one entry this year, this week we have Assassin's Creed Rogue and Assassin's Creed Unity. Settle for revenge in AC Rogue or dabble in some French history in AC Unity.

Elsewhere this week, look out for Mega Drive remake Pier Solar, popular side-scroller Terraria on PS4, acclaimed indie Nidhogg, arcade style Tennis in the Face (in the face!!), JRPG Tales of Hearts R, and a fistful of new discounts which all go live today.
