Video: Atomic Ninjas is Out Next Week for PS3 and PlayStation Vita

50°
42w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska announced that Atomic Ninjas is due out next week for both PS3 and PlayStation Vita platforms.

To quote: Hey everybody! This is Jakub, from Grip Games. Our long-awaited, multiplayer action platformer, Atomic Ninjas, is finally cutting its way to PS3 and PS Vita next week on PlayStation Store, Cross Buy and Cross Save, for $9.99.

We're happy to reveal that, contrary to a previous announcement, both the PS3 and PS Vita versions will be released simultaneously on October 8th - as all the evil ninjas sabotaging the launch were apprehended and beheaded

For those of you who not yet familiar with Atomic Ninjas, it's a hilarious, 2.5D platformer with a focus on multiplayer matches, both online and local. But single-player mode is also present, including vicious ninja-bots!

The most important gameplay feature is that you won't be able to directly kill your opponents. Instead, you have to use the arenas themselves to get rid of the competition. Who needs guns when you have lava, acid pools, and laser walls?

Your goal will be to push other ninjas into these environmental hazards and, of course, stay out of them yourself. This creates a completely new twist on gameplay, where you have to outmaneuver and outsmart your opponents.

45w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new PS3, PS Vita and PSN releases for the upcoming week today, as follows:

It's finally here. The ambitious, long-awaited open world from Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto V, hits PS3 this week.

The Grand Theft Auto franchise has commanded the attention of gamers for years, and the launch of a new entry in the series is a true industry event. And this is no exception.

Grand Theft Auto V introducers gamers to a trio of protagonists pulled (once again) into a life of crime.

New to the series, Grand Theft Auto V supports dynamic switching between these three characters, enabling players to weave in and out of action - and the sprawling city of Los Santos.

Plan heists, drive luxurious cars, grab a round of golf, or just cause trouble. All and more await in Los Santos.

But Grand Theft Auto V isn't the only game dropping next week. Real Boxing hits PS Vita and brings with it an eye-catching boxing simulation with refined controls and additional features. For the complete list of games coming, head on down.

Enjoy the Drop, and tell us what you think of our new, streamlined format!

Video: Killzone Mercenary on PS Vita: Week One Multiplayer Stats

50°
45w ago - Guerrilla Cambridge Senior Producer Mark Green posted up a fresh Killzone Mercenary PS Vita video today spotlighting the week one multiplayer stats below.

To quote: A week after Killzone Mercenary's launch, one of the great things to see is how so many different people play the game in so many different ways.

Looking at the stats I can see that the M82 and the silenced STA-52SE are the weapons of choice for a lot of people, each racking up 5M+ kills already, but digging deeper it's great to see that some of the other weapons are being wielded very effectively.

I'd expected my personal favourite - the STA-14 - to be topping the headshot charts, but it's actually being pipped at the post by the up close and personal touch of the silenced STA-18SE.

It seems there are a lot of you out there who really don't want to show up on the radar! No doubt those people have already bought the Infiltrator Armour as well.

If you want to check out some of the stats for yourself then take at looks at Blackjack's on the official [Register or Login to view links].

If you're already playing, then I hope you like watching what's...
