Video: Akiba's Trip: Undead and Undressed Out Tomorrow on PS4

50°
4w ago - XSEED Localization Specialist Tom Lipschultz shared a video today announcing that Akiba's Trip: Undead and Undressed is officially out tomorrow on PS4 with details below.

To quote: In the beginning, there was Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed on PS3 and Vita. And it was ridiculous (But in a good way!).

Now... there will be Akiba's Trip on PS4. And it will be even more ridiculous. In an even better way.

Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to find Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed in stores and on PlayStation Store in North America - just in time for Thanksgiving! The PS4 iteration of the game is less "old hat" and more "all that," with lots of console exclusive features that might just make your holiday season a little crazier in that distinctive way only the best and weirdest Japanese anime and games can.

If you don't know what Akiba's Trip is, it's the story of a customizable dude named Nanashi (which means "no-name" in Japanese). He lives, works, and goes to school in Akihabara, the infamous "geek district" of Japan (which has been recreated as true-to-life as possible in the game).

The district is renowned worldwide for its many shops and restaurants centered around anime, manga, video...

New Sony PlayStation and PSN Games for November 25, 2014

50°
4w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new PlayStation and PSN games for the upcoming week today, as follows:

Wait, didn't all the games come out last week? Nonsense! Another huge week of gaming is ready to storm the world of PlayStation, starting with the frantic arcade arenas of Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions.

The legendary shooter series hits PS4 and PS3 this week with more than 50 levels of heart-pounding battles.

Fend off waves of enemies using devastating weapons, unique companion drones, and your own reflexes. Death comes quickly on these shifting 3D battlescapes, so stay light on your digital toes and you could earn a coveted spot on the leaderboards.

And that's just the beginning. Save the global cat population in Aqua Kitty DX (actual plot point), uncover the secrets within Japan's Akihabara district in Akiba's Trip, or just brawl in the 1920's with Speakeasy. The choices!

For a full list of games coming to PlayStation this week, read on. And, as ever, enjoy the Drop!

New Bloodborne Weapon and Hunter Emerge on PlayStation 4

100°
5w ago - Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa revealed details today of a new Bloodborne weapon and hunter emerging on PlayStation 4 below.

To quote: Hello, PlayStation fans. I am excited to be able to share some brand new details for [Register or Login to view links], our PS4-exclusive collaboration between Sony Japan Studio and FromSoftware.

We'll have much more to share in a few weeks at PlayStation Experience, but in the meantime here's a sneak peek at some of the beautiful and nightmarish stages, enemies, and weapons you'll get to see in the game this March, straight from the dark and twisted imagination of the masterful team at From Software.

We revealed a number of new areas of the game back at TGS, including the forbidden forest and an old, abandoned part of Yharnam back at TGS. You may also remember the Hemwick graveyard we first revealed at Gamescom, located on the outskirts of Yharnam.

Despite the warm colored sky and beautiful clouds, this graveyard is home to some very twisted residents, like the deformed gravekeeper hags with their horrifying shrieks and long reach attacks.

When you make your way through the depths of the Hemwick graveyard,...

New LittleBigPlanet 3 PS4 Dynamic Theme Arrives on PlayStation Network

400°
5w ago - Following Sony's AR Bots PS4 Dynamic Theme and the release of LittleBigPlanet 3, today a new LittleBigPlanet 3 PlayStation 4 Dynamic Theme is available which reveals a further degree of dynamism in the PS4 UI.

To quote: "Today Sony Computer entertainment released LittleBigPlanet 3, but that isn't the only thing the publisher made available related to Sackboy and his companions. A dynamic theme has also been made available for those that want to go the extra mile in decorating their PS4.

Besides drooling cuteness from every pixel, the new theme also shows an interesting feature of the PS4 UI. Pretty much like LittleBigPlanet 3 itself, it has different levels on which theme creators can work. In this particular theme, as you can see in the screenshots below, the action doesn't only happen behind the tiles, but Swoop can actually fly in front of them, adding a further degree of dynamism.

The theme comes with its own sound effects, but this time around it isn't free, costing $2.99. You can find it on the PlayStation Web store [Register or Login to view links]...
