215w ago - According to MW2Blog (linked above), the inevitable has happened for one of this season's big XBox 360 videogame releases... the XBox 360 (PAL) version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has apparently been leaked 11 days early on the Internet.
A screenshot (below) shows what appears to be a number of the achievements and many of the various chapter names for the game.
For those wondering, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 officially releases on PC, PS3 and XBox 360 on November 10, 2009.
To quote: "Still eleven days until the hype train comes to a stop and MW2Blog has received word that Modern Warfare 2 is 'already ripped and ready for upload region free PAL.'
We can not vouch for the authenticity of these claims but if the images below are to be believed there will be a lot more spoilers in the upcoming days."
219w ago - Update: Edge-Online is now reporting that Analysts Michael Pachter of Wedbush Securities and Jesse Divnich of EEDAR wouldn't be at all surprised if Sony's next handheld supported the platform holder's proprietary UMD format.
According to PlayStation Insider (linked above), they have received a tip regarding the functionality of the upcoming PSP 4000.
Apparently it will feature the PSP Go's 16GB memory, however, it will also retain the UMD drive if the rumor is accurate.
To quote: "We received a tip today that Sony is working on a PSP-4000 that will feature the Bluetooth interface seen in PSP Go, as well as possibly featuring some of it's other features like 16GB's of internal memory, but it will likely retain the UMD drive as all of the other versions in the PSP-X000 series have.
I wouldn't get your hopes up for that second analog stick yet though, as that is likely to be put off until PSP 2 releases. You will still be able to at least use your Dual Shock 3 or Sixaxis controllers with the new PSP-4000, assuming these rumors pan out.
221w ago - Update: As expected, SCEA denies the photo (just like the PS3 Slim ones) and told Engadget that there's no bundles being planned for America, but that they can't speak for other regions (e.g. Europe, Japan).
Following the PS3 Slim 250GB bundle rumor from last week comes another- Engadget (linked above) is reporting that a 250GB PlayStation 3 Slim Uncharted 2 bundle has now surfaced.
To quote: "No sooner do we get a 250GB Xbox 360 on the horizon does this image land in our tip box, showing a PlayStation 3 slim bundle for Uncharted 2 that just so happens to have that 250GB hard drive we spotted in the FCC last month.
We've been able to independently confirm that it's legit, but beyond that we've got no clue when it'll be announced or any price / release date information. We wouldn't be surprised to see this hit stores in mid-October alongside Uncharted 2, but that's just a guess on our part.
With any luck, SCE exec Kaz Hirai will be shedding some light at his Tokyo Game Show keynote next week - c'mon Sony, don't keep us in the dark too long."
