Joe Danger 2 Comes to PS3 October 9th with Exclusive Content

115w ago - Hello Games Managing Director Sean Murray has announced today that Joe Danger 2 is coming to PS3 on October 9th with exclusive content!

Below are the details, as follows: I'm here to tell you something surprising! Joe Danger 2 is coming to PlayStation gamers very soon, next week in fact! That's October 9th in the US!

PlayStation owners are getting a huge exclusive DLC pack of bonus content too. I'd love to tell you more about it, but first I'm going to have to explain a little about how we make games.

When we make a game, we make it for ourselves. We play it every day, getting better and better at it. The great thing is that you get rid of every snag and rough edge, but then we let our friends play, and realise it has become too hard!

That's what happened when we made the original Joe Danger, as four guys sat in a room playing our own game. We actually first made a very tight, very challenging game that took about 10 hours to complete. It was pure and intense!

No tutorials, no handholding, just fun arcade gameplay. Our friends loved it, but only the most skilled players could master it. In fact no one was able to complete it!

We knew we had to go back to the drawing board, we wanted Joe Danger to be more accessible and easier to get into....

116w ago - Hello Games Managing Director Sean Murray has shared a video today announcing that Joe Danger: The Movie is roaring onto PSN with exclusive content.

To quote: It's even more exciting to be able to announce that Joe Danger: The Movie is coming to PS3 in the very near future with exclusive new content!

Two years ago, three friends and I made the original Joe Danger. The PlayStation community then took us under their wing and helped make it the huge success it became.

Since then we've been working incredibly hard to create the follow-up, Joe Danger: The Movie. Finally, today we can announce that Joe is coming home to the PlayStation Store very, very soon.

What I really can't wait for is the surprises we have in store for PlayStation gamers. This has been a total labour of love for us, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what people think of the game.

If you want to know more about the game, you can read some previews here and here, but first let me tell you a bunch of stuff you might not know.

Make your own Movie!

In the original, Joe Danger was a washed up stuntman, living in a caravan in the middle of the desert. Now he has been discovered by a mysterious...

Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set, Extra PS3 Content

300°
118w ago - Capcom Product Manager Andrew Schnorr has announced today that the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's will include tons of extra content on PS3!

Below are the details, to quote: Back on August 30, 1987, Capcom released Street Fighter in arcades, which seemed relatively innocuous until you gave it a second look.

The graphics were average for the time, the voice acting was quite muffled, and the controls were strict and unforgiving. You could normally only choose a single character - a redheaded, red-shoed martial artist named Ryu - unless a second player came on, in which case they could play a blonde clone named Ken.

Most people who play it would agree that it's not the best game in the series, but there were people who saw its potential, and decided to continue the franchise with Street Fighter II. With that, one of the video games' biggest icons stepped into the spotlight.

Over the past 25 years, Street Fighter has worked itself up from humble beginnings in the arcade to being a cultural phenomenon throughout the world. Millions of people interact with it every day, in a myriad of ways.

In all truth, the fans define the franchise as much as the games. And it was these people who inspired the creation of the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's...
