Introducing Hustle Kings for PS3 on PlayStation Network

100°
286w ago - US Producer Aaron Orsak has introduced Hustle Kings for PS3 today which is coming to Sony's PlayStation Network this winter.

To quote: Hustle Kings is without a doubt the most realistic and, frankly, impressive billiards game I've ever played. As an avid pool player myself, from 8-ball leagues to smoky snooker halls in the UK, I've just gotten used to billiard video games always "missing something"... that "something" is hard to quantify.

But I can honestly say that Hustle Kings gets it completely right! I wasn't yet assigned to the project when a couple of my colleagues and I got our hands on it here around the office. I was initially quite skeptical given my history of video billiard disappointments, thinking it was going to be just another pool game, but after hitting a few shots I was sold.

The amount of ball control is simply astounding, giving the player any and every shot option in the book...from masse shots to subtle swerves and tricky English, you can do anything to the cue ball in Hustle Kings that you can do around a real table.

So the realism was there, but how would the game fare for a more casual gamer? Turns out everyone around the office, from the hardcore to the weekend warrior, to people I've rarely seen play games, found something to...

Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! for PSP Hits PlayStation Store

286w ago - Today NIS America, Inc. PR/Marketing Coordinator Nao Zook has announced that Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! for PSP is making its way to Sony's PlayStation Store next month.

To quote: NIS America has decided to release Badman exclusively on the PlayStation Network on July 16, 2009. The reason we're going this direction is because the demo version of Badman on PSN was so surprisingly well received, and we thought Badman would be the perfect title to test the waters of this download-only release opportunity on PSN.

Badman is a relatively small title in terms of download size, and with a PSN release we can provide this title to our fans for only $19.99. We hope that you all are happy with this decision :-)

After the launch of the Badman demo, I noticed that some people were a little confused and struggled with the gameplay. Badman has very simple rules, but it is still very challenging. The first couple of stages will be easy to beat, but it gets tougher as you go forward. So, NIS America has created a [Register or Login to view links].

Sony Finally Finds Smart Marketing for the PlayStation Portable

250°
286w ago - It appears the idea of console exclusives is over with the recent announcement of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for PlayStation Portable.

The Nintendo DS version has been out on the market since March 17, 2009, plenty of time for the Grand Theft Auto fanatic to either purchase the game for the DS or go and buy a Nintendo DS just so it could be played.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is the third GTA title to release on the PlayStation Portable after GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Vice City Stories. It makes sense on a business level for Sony to start pushing for more titles on the PlayStation Portable, and even more so the upcoming PSP Go.

Sony needs to properly support the PSP Go from launch. They cannot afford to release the new PSP and leave it on the market for a couple months before properly supporting it. This is primarily because of the PSP Go's lack of UMD drive.

Granted, gamers could use the PlayStation Store to download PSOne Classics or even some older PSP titles onto the PSP Go, but where will the money be at? The new downloadable titles. With Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars releasing around the same time, there is a title that will help sell the PSP Go for early...
