It contains a few scenes viewed from different angles, a few new anime scenes and some of the second Mystic Artes of the main cast (plus one of Patty's Mystic Arte, though it's still unclear if she will be getting a Mystic Arte similar to those of the characters' Xbox 360 Mystic Arte batch). There's also a Repede racing minigame shown.

Tales of Vesperia's PS3 port will be released on September 17, 2009 in Japan and US localization has yet to be announced.

Battle Tanks Coming to PSN this Month for PlayStation 3

250°
276w ago - Today Gameloft's Philippe Laurens has announced that Battle Tanks will be hitting PSN this month for the PlayStation 3 console.

To quote: Battle Tanks features World War II tanks that face off against each other in hopes to blow the other to smithereens. You can play against the AI or co-op with a friend in Campaign Mode to overcome 50 maze and paint ball-like levels.

There's also a fun multiplayer option also allows two to four people to challenge each other in Death Match modes or Capture the Flag mode.

Nothing beats blasting through walls with rockets, scorching enemies with flame throwers and carefully calculating the trajectory of bullets to win battles. The controls are simple: the left stick moves your tank and the L2 and R2 buttons are used for firing.

The aiming guide is highlighted when you hold down the L1 button and comes in extremely handy when you're trying to stealthily eliminate enemies on the field. To reduce the waiting time when a player dies, we added a new feature: Gun Turrets! When you've lost all your lives, you still can play and help your partner win the game.

As soon as an early version of Battle Tanks was installed on our PS3 test kit, it quickly became the most popular attraction in the Gameloft Studio. Everyone who passed...

EA Exec Predicts PlayStation 3.5 Before Arrival of PlayStation 4

500°
277w ago - An executive at Electronic Arts has stated that he expects to see a PlayStation 3.5 before the PlayStation 4 console's arrival.

Additionally, he expects the next version of the Xbox 360 to go 'half way' as well at Xbox 560 versus 720.

To quote: Rich Hilleman, Chief Creative Officer at EA, said: "I expect we'll see a PlayStation 3.5 before we see a PlayStation 4, and an Xbox 560 before we see an Xbox 720."

Hilleman's comments - made at a recent gaming event in the US, according to website Venturebeat - suggest that Sony and Microsoft will try to update their consoles in stages, rather than replace existing models with brand new ones.

The incorporation of motion-capture gaming is likely to drive this process. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer recently suggested the company's 'Project Natal' motion-capture system will debut next year in a new Xbox 360.
