Warhammer Online: Get Your Free BETA Keys

200°
311w ago - It's official, I'm finally getting my knees deep in an MMO for once. Usually I let Major handle these dirty tasks so that I myself don't get sucked in, but when I heard of free beta keys at 5:00 AM in the morning I couldn't resist but to grab one myself.

Multiplay is currently handing out 50,000 free beta keys. All you have to do is visit the page below sign up an account, and then head back to the link I posted. Fill out your birthday along with you language, and request a key.

If you are rejected for a key, don't start weeping just yet. Go back, and complete the same process in another language. It will usually spit out a key after your second or third try!

At least it their are enough keys by then. We ourselves have one extra key we will be giving out if all else fails for your success of becoming a destined WAR player. All you got to do is register an account, and post a comment here with your account name. Those who commented with the correct information will be put into a raffle (which will occur around 5:30 tomorrow morning), and produce a winner. Before you retreat to luck we do suggest you try your chance out at Multiplay with the link below!.

PlayTV goes back to DRM-free, PSP-friendly copying!

250°
311w ago - Sometimes it's hard to keep track of what's "official" and what's not - especially because Sony continues to contradict itself. When we first heard the Euro-exclusive PlayTV box would allow users to copy recorded shows onto the PSP, we all said "yay."

The convenience of recording TV and taking it with us wherever we go sounded swell. Then, we found out that the files would be restricted.

Well, with PlayTV in the hands of reviewers, it appears Sony has switched back to the original plan. You'll now be able to copy DRM-free versions of your recorded programs to your PSP, or any other compatible MPEG-4 device, at least according to CVG.

Our European readers may want to check out CVG's review. The rest of us will just sit here in the corner, waiting.

Confirmed: LittleBigPlanet IS region-free, worldwide content for all!

200°
313w ago - SCE has revealed that the producer of LittleBigPlanet wrongly told journalists that LittleBigPlanet will be region-locked, as previously reported.

Sam_Protagonist (SCE Development) just posted up "This is in fact not the case, and all shared levels in the game will be available worldwide."

To quote: Hi all, as many of you may have heard already in an interview at Leipzig the senior producer for LittleBigPlanet announced that the game is region locked.

This is in fact not the case, and all shared levels in the game will be available worldwide. The confusion arose out of regional differences in how moderation will work as there are different legal rules each region have to play by, and at one point this looked like it may require the game to be independent in each region - however this has been worked around and there will only be one region for the game.... a LittleBigRegion.

Apologies for any confusion over this issue, however I'm pretty sure you're happy with the result.
