Downloadable Games
Texas Cheat'em ($9.99)
It's not whether you win or lose...it's about how far you can bend the rules without getting caught. In Texas Cheat'em, that's pretty darn far. Play casino-themed mini-games to activate one of 15 cheating abilities - then make your own luck. Turn a bad hand into a sure thing. Send your opponent's Royal Flush right down the drain. Steal chips, fold for free, or know the community cards in advance. Cheat strangers out...

50°
269w ago - PlayStation Network Marketing Manager Megan Ybarra shared the following news today via PS Blog:

Hey everyone, starting today you can download the exclusive "Chamber" apartment for free in PlayStation Home. Nope, that's not a misprint.

This interactive space comes complete with fire pits, waterfalls and a giant tree that's more alive than you might expect. But make sure to come into Home and download your apartment now, because after May 21st, this premium personal apartment disappears from the housing market forever.

One last thing before we go. We've created a new video for Home and we'd love for you to check it out and let us know what you think. We hope you like it!

Video: Critter Crunch Trailer for PlayStation 3 Available

50°
270w ago - Today Capy's Creative Director Kris Piotrowski shared a Critter Crunch PS3 trailer via Sony's PlayStation Blog.

To quote: This is Kris. I'm the creative director at [Register or Login to view links], which means I'm by-far the coolest guy at the studio. And Capy is pretty cool, so that's not just talk.

Anyway, who is Capy, right? Well, Capy is an indie studio from the sometimes frozen, other times disgustingly humid Canadian wonderland known as Toronto.

So, um, check this trailer... but only if you're down with technicolor barf!

Boing! That was me announcing Critter Crunch for PlayStation Network!

Everyone at Capy has been working super-hard creating this crazy little arcade-puzzler (and filling it with humongous doses of love) so we're very excited to finally announce its existence. Critter Crunch is fueled by an original and award-winning "food chain" puzzle mechanic, which is all about feeding critters into each other until they burst. It's exactly as cute as it is horrible and sad, just like nature itself!

The game features a bunch of single player modes like adventure & puzzle, as well as online and local multiplayer in versus & co-op flavors, with a plethora of fancy...

Sony: We're Expanding PlayStation Network Beyond PS3

350°
270w ago - Sony's CEO Howard Stringer has revealed that Sony will be expanding the PlayStation Network to hardware other than the PS3 console.

Stringer noted the expansion is a good idea because the number of PS3's sold puts a limit on the scale of the network possible.

To quote: Sony CEO Sir Howard Stringer has spoken on how online services have driven the expansion of the PlayStation business, and has implied that Sony is set to push the PSN service on other devices.

"We will be expanding the PlayStation Network to hardware other than the PS3," he said in an interview with Asian news service [Register or Login to view links]. He said that Sony will be expanding the PSN because the number of PS3 units sold "puts a limit on the scale of the network possible."

"Sony has a vertical structure for each product line, an organizational structure that resists change, so it will take time to achieve this network growth. However, a large number of employees share my opinion on this," he added.
