SingStar PlayStation Home Space Leaked and Pulled by SCE UK

270w ago - Earlier today SCE UK had a [Register or Login to view links] (now removed) on the upcoming Singstar Home Space.

After it made its way to the social gaming network N4G and several Web sites, it was pulled from their server... likely because it was posted prematurely.

At the [Register or Login to view links] kingofscotland took notice, and this is all that currently remains along with the pics below:

"Dance the Night Away in Playstation Home: It's always Saturday night in The SingStar Rooms - a brand new party space in PlayStation Home.

You can get to The SingStar Rooms from the PlayStation Home World Map; grab your best outfit and head over to where the Home community goes to party."

The Space, which will be themed around SingStar, will feature a music quiz (with prizes for your Home avatar) and, naturally, music.

Welcome back to your all-points BOLO bulletin wherein I give you, the beautiful people of the PlayStation Home community, a head's up on what to keep your eyes open for in our next publishing update. This Thursday, you'll see that we decided to start the 4th of July festivities a few days early - and with a serious bang - by shooting some truly explosive content your way.

Up first is the electrifying inFAMOUS game space: The Abandoned Docks of Empire City. This awesome space supports the next level of UGC (User-Generated Content) on the Home platform with its Graffiti Wall mini-game. Here, you can use our graffiti tools to design your own unique art to display to your friends.





There's also a voting feature so that you can give props to the creators of your favorite designs, and a feature that allows you to share your masterworks and check out your friends' latest and greatest creations - be it simple scribbles or extravagant frescos.

428 Announced for PlayStation 3 in Latest Famitsu Magazine

270w ago - The latest issue of Famitsu Magazine has announced that 428, a graphic-novel game for the Wii that received a perfect score in Famitsu, is coming to PlayStation 3 and PSP soon in Japan.

Of course, it's nothing to drool over, since those who can't read Japanese can make no use of the game.

The PlayStation 3 version will go for 7140 Yen and the PSP version will sell for 5040 Yen.

Sony Starts Official Licensing Program for PlayStation Peripherals

270w ago - Today Sony Computer Entertainment announced plans to expand its "Official Licensing Program" to further enhance PlayStation peripherals and accessories for the PSP, PS2 and the PS3.

Press Release: TOKYO, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE) today announced the expansion of the "Official License Program" to peripheral manufacturers in Japan, Asia, North America and Europe/ PAL territories to further enhance the PlayStation peripheral and accessory line-ups and offer richer entertainment experience on the PlayStation platform.

By entering into a license agreement with SCE through this program, peripheral and accessory manufacturers will gain access to technical documentations necessary for designing and creating variety of licensed products for PlayStation platforms including PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) handheld entertainment system, PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment system and PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system.

Furthermore, SCE will provide "Official Licensed Product logo" to be used on product packages, proving that the peripherals and accessories have been designed for each respective PlayStation platform, qualifying SCE standards and requirements.
