The Qore team's put together a spook-tacular, monster-themed Halloween Special for Episode 05 available in the PlayStation Store on Thursday, October 9, here's a preview:

2K Games: BioShock for PS3 Goes Gold; Demo Arrives Thursday

305w ago - 2K Games has announced BioShock for PlayStation 3 System has gone gold Gold. Additionally, a consumer demo will be available for download from the PlayStation Network starting Thursday, October 2, 2008.

Press Release: 2K Games announced today that BioShock for PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system has gone gold and will be available at retailers across North America on October 21 and internationally on October 17. Additionally, PlayStation 3 system owners will be able to experience their first foray into Rapture with the release of the playable demo, available for free download from the PlayStation Network starting Thursday, October 2.

Developed by 2K Marin, 2K Boston, 2K Australia and Digital Extremes, BioShock for the PlayStation 3 system contains all-new content that augments and extends the experience in exciting ways. BioShock for the PlayStation 3 system contains new features such as the inclusion of the Survivor difficulty mode, Trophy support and the addition of all-new Add-On Game Content that will be available for download shortly after launch. Pricing and availability for Add-On Game Content will be specified at a later date.

Burnout Paradise Arrives this Thursday at the PlayStation Store!

306w ago - We announced a few weeks back that you'd soon be able to buy Burnout Paradise on the PlayStation Store. We're now able to confirm that this will be released on this coming Thursday (25th of September).

Buying the game gets you all the original Burnout Paradise disk content. If you missed it, that's all 5 neighbourhoods in the Paradise City open world filled with hundreds of Road Rage, Stunt Run, Marked Man and Burning Route events. Every street in the city features a Road Rules record time and Showtime score to beat.

Take it online, and you'll witness the seamless arrival of up to 7 friends. Collaborate with them to beat 350 Freeburn Challenges - simple challenges taking you all over Paradise City.

Starting the game will then immediately trigger the download of all our updates, including the recent Cagney Pack and Burnout Bikes. A pack delivering PS3 Trophy Support will be released imminently and included for free.

To give you some idea of what you get, here's a whirlwind tour of all the awesome new content we've brought to Burnout Paradise since the game released.

Introducing Qore; First Episode will be available this Thursday

321w ago - Sony Computer Entertainment of America have annouced a new downloadable subcription service known as Qore. Qore will be avaible at at Price of $2.99 per episode or $24.99 for an annual subscription.

Qore will give PlayStation owners a chance to access game related content from upcoming games, along with special access to game demos, special beta invitations, game add-ons and other downloadable game-related content and it is also noted that everything will be filmed in HD.

The first episode will be available this Thursday and will include new content on games such as Socom Confrontation and Soul Calibur 4, however the main draw for this episode of Qore will no doubt be the invitation to the SOCOM: Confrontation BETA, which will be taking place very soon. This episode of Qore will be presented by Veronica Belmont.
