206w ago - The world can definitely be a scary place, but especially for someone who just awoke inside a morgue with no memories. What if this scenario happened to you?
For Alex Mercer, it has become apparent that he was different and people wanted him dead... now he just needs to find out why in Prototype for PS3.
To quote: I guess you could say this would be a messed up way to get a second chance in life. The story starts off with you fully loaded with all of your abilities taking on an infected New York City, having to deal with military personnel and monsters, plus a few infected humans wandering around.
Once that is done you zip backwards to where it all began: your corpse in a Gentek lab facility and a squad of military officials feeding you a nice helping of M-16 rounds that surprisingly does not slow you down.
Now the story gets interesting. After you make a frog leap over a 20 foot tall building and then catch a taxi cab with your hands tossing it at the military choppers that have spotted you. If you don't get the idea by now then this is the part where you learn you're a superhuman weapon and a pretty darned strong one.
208w ago - inFAMOUS is 1 of 3 triple A titles that are coming out this summer, the other 2 titles being Red Faction Guerrilla and Prototype.
People are really wondering if this underdog is really as good as it claims to be. The truth is inFAMOUS is better then I had expected, but it still let me down in certain areas. Although these areas are the same thing every other sandbox game (Besides GTA) does wrong.
Let me start off by saying I love the way inFAMOUS tells it's story. Using wonderful comic book style cutscenes, it truly does a well job on explaining how the city has gone to shit and the place is being quarantined in just 14 days... didn't make sense to me either but I'm not one to complain.
Along the way you must make choices like "Do I feed these people or take the food for myself and let them starve?"
Depending on your choice your karama will go up or down. Most of the choices are obvious as to which is good and which is bad, but there is one I can think of where you have to chose to blow up something putting waste into the water. If you're not careful you will end up doing the evil action.
All in all it works out pretty well. When you're bad you are wicked, and when you are good your a saint,...

I would like to start off and say this is a very excellent game to rent, but it is too short to warrant buying.
It will take you 4-6 hours to complete the game and there is virtually no replay value with this game.
What more can you say other than this is a movie game. The AI is intelligent and predictable at the same time.
The weapons are there and the ammo is plentiful, and different weapon types you get include a shotgun, machine gun, assault rifle, rpg and gernade launcher. For gernades you get frag gernades and pipe bombs.
Theres 9 levels for this game.. the first one is easy, the ninth level is easy, the levels are the same but the AI and scenery change and get a little bit harder.
The machines are pretty much all the same. They are all mechanical monsters with different weak spots and a weak story. There is a boss for every level, typically in this game you just shoot rockets or machine guns at them...

Lets start out by stating this game is possibly the worst game I have ever played/reviewed!!!
You're a British Secret Agent who has to destroy and assassinate key political and military targets.
The AI in the game is so dumb, but dead-on when they go to shoot you. Her sneaking thing is sluggish and inconsistent, the hype was worth it but the game was a huge letdown.
There's not a very big selection of weapons and ammo is scarce at best. Its extremely difficult, slow and tedious. The graphics are horrible, and I've seen better PS1 and Gameboy games that were more interactive and fun.
Now you are probably asking would I buy this game? No, I would not because the gameplay is horrible, the controls are sluggish, or plain flat do not work. As mentioned above, the sneaking thing is terrible and the enemies can see you as if you were walking up to them and ammo is nearly in non-existant.
Name of Game: Tom Clancy's HAWX
Release Date: 3/5/2009
Genre: Action, Aviation
Player: 1 Player
Overall Rating: 10
Platforms: Xbox 360, PS3 and PC
I would consider this game more of an action game rather than a sim because you only do half the things you would do in a regular flight sim. Sure you fly and fight, but the game lacks take-offs and landings.
You never fly in the same place or same environment twice. There are so many different planes that a plane is available to fit everyone's flying/fighting style.
You're probably asking why I would buy this game... I would buy this game because it has excellent replay value and I'm a military plane fanatic. I also like the tac-map option and how you can be behind the plane and pull out of this world moves with it.
All in all, Tom Clancy's HAWX will take you about 20-25 hours to complete plus countless hours online.
Also the graphics were done very nicely along with the various planes extremely smooth controls.
