238w ago - Audi is obviously looking forward to being in the coming Gran Turismo 5.
After all, the Quattro company has created a Web site to promote its car on the Nürburgring in real life and in the game, and it interviewed GT5 mastermind Kazunori Yamauchi about what fans can expect.
To quote: Yamauchi-san revealed that the game is going to offer not only more vehicles, more online features, and increased detail, but it will also include night racing, damage rendering (previously confirmed), and weather changes.
If you watch the Audi R8 Meets Gran Turismo 5 video, one of the game developers even talks of one day providing weather reports for an entire 24-hour race, and you can read the interview with Yamauchi-san by clicking on a PDF link here. The graphical and gameplay additions are surely welcome and long overdue, and could return GT5 to the head of the racing sim pack - whenever it finally gets here...

258w ago - Gran Turismo 5 is expected to be one of the best racing titles of 2009. Judging by the standards of GT5: Prologue, the combination of graphics and realistic handling, makes it one of the best titles out there.
However, what other games can we expect to be of good quality in 2009. In my opinion, none really can compare to GT5, but there are some still very good contenders. Below are some of my picks of worthy racing titles to get in 09. You tell me what you think.
Ferrari Project Even though not much news has surfaced recently, the visuals provided are astounding and are comparable to that of Gran Turismo 5. Some even claim that the graphics look a bit more realistic than GT5: Prologue in some head-to-head comparisons. Also, a couple months ago, someone was able to get a hands on and said that the handling of the vehicles were very remarkable. This game is centred around Ferrari vehicles however, so that's what I consider one of the downfalls.
It would have been interesting to see what potential this game had if they focused on a wider range of cars. The last time we heard about this game, it was said that it would be made available in 2009. However, Blimey! games haven't given any information about this game recently. This is an Xbox 360 and PC only title. I could see this...
