15w ago - Square Enix Senior Product Manager Sakura Minamida announced that Drakengard 3 is out today on PS3 complete with a new PlayStation 3 video trailer reveal below!

To quote: It's a pleasure to be here on PlayStation.Blog to tell you guys that Drakengard 3 is out today on PS3. The Drakengard series has always been one of Square Enix's most unique titles, and Drakengard 3 is no exception. To quote the tagline: carnage has never looked so beautiful.

You may remember that we had a very limited quantity Collector's Edition of the game that sold out pretty quickly. Some good news for those of you that missed it is that you can now purchase the entirety of the DLC content we included in the Collector's Edition with the game for $64.99, exclusively on PlayStation Store.

We call it the Digital Collector's Edition, and it includes One's Prologue, the Giant Baby Hat for Mikhail, Caim's Garb, the Japanese Voice Pack, the Nier Costume Pack, and six PSN themes.

For those of you who want to buy the DLC individually, there's a few things available for sale today as well, including the Japanese Voice Pack, Manah's Garb (her Drakengard 2 look) for Zero, and for you music fans, two remix packs that change certain tracks in the game to either the original Drakengard titles or Nier. We'll have...

Video: The Randomized Fun of Nuclear Throne on PS4, PS3, PS Vita

16w ago - Vlambeer's Rami Ismail made available a video today spotlighting the Randomized Fun of Nuclear Throne on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.

To quote: We've been working on Nuclear Throne for a long time. In the past few months, we've been working on the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita versions. It's still a few months out before we're ready to launch, but we're really excited about how things are coming along.

We noticed something interesting about the development process though, something we hadn't quite expected... Nuclear Throne is still a fun game to make.

That sounds like a bit of a ridiculous statement, but that's actually quite a rare occurrence. Game development is a passion occupation, something you do because you love it - but it isn't always fun.

We're almost a year into development, and we're in what is commonly accepted as the rough part of a development cycle: the production phase. It's the period of time in which the fun of coming up with new ideas has withered in favor of making things day in, day out, and the excitement of being almost done is still far-off in the distance.

Nuclear Throne is a top-down action game with procedurally generated levels. It's Hotline Miami meets Binding of Isaac. It's fast, difficult, and different every single time. It's pulp sci-fi made...

To quote: GT Fans! Following the promise of the Vision GT program announced last year, we are proud and excited to share the latest release of the BMW Vision Gran Turismo virtual race car now available for all GT6 owners.

The race-car, created by BMW Group Design combines many years of their motorsports experience and signature performance design, portraying a sense of speed and power, even while standing still. Video: Hohokum: The Right Kind of Wonky on PS4, PS3, PS Vita

17w ago - Hohokum Co-creator Richard Hogg posted up a video today dubbed The Right Kind of Wonky spotlighting Hohokum for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: Hello there! We're nearly finished making Hohokum for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, and we're excited for its launch this Summer!

For me, this past month has mostly been about all those final tweaks to the art. Making sure I'm happy with absolutely everything in the game.

Some might call this "polish," but polish implies a smoothness and shyness that somehow doesn't seem right for my work on Hohokum. Today I was re-drawing some wonky hotdog-trees. They're still pretty wonky but now it's the right kind of wonky.

So, yeah. We're nearly done with the biggest and most ambitious endeavor of my life. It's an exciting time and also a time for reflection...

Recently we were filmed for the first of a series of developer diaries that touch on key components that make up the world of Hohokum. Our first video is about the Art of Hohokum, featuring myself and Ricky Haggett.

We get a lot of questions about how the art style came about, what our process is like, and how our collaboration works. There is some sketchbook stuff that you might...
