262w ago - Bluepoint Games President Andy O'Neil was pleased to reveal today that Blast Factor for PlayStation 3 will offer PS3 trophies as of this Thursday.
To quote: Hey All! We've had a lot of email over the last few months asking about Trophies for Blast Factor, so I'm very pleased to announce that a new updated version of Blast Factor with that sweet Trophy goodness will be winging its way to your PS3 this Thursday!
We've had a lot of fun putting the Trophy challenges together, and we reckon that we've got a good selection for Blast Factor fans of all abilities. Watch out though, there are a couple that are going to be a challenge to even the most hardcore of Blast Factor players!
We've added 25 Trophies in total across the original game and the 2 expansion packs, with around 15 Trophies in Blast Factor: Basic Research and its 90+ levels, and 10 Trophies split between the Multiplayer expansion and Advanced Research with its addition of 80+ levels and Hybrid mode.
We've also added rumble support for the DualShock 3 Controller for that extra tactile goodness. All existing versions of Blast Factor will get automatically patched when you start the game, so you won't even need to download the new version from the store.

To quote: Pete Hines, Bethesda's VP of PR and Marketing, confirmed that updates are coming for the PC and PlayStation 3 versions of Fallout 3.
Many of the questions pertained to downloadable content, which Hines didn't answer with definitively. But gamers playing the post-apocalyptic RPG on platforms other than Xbox 360 will be happy to note the other news.
Hines replied to a question about left-handed controls and patches with an extra tidbit of news, saying, "...As far as fixes, there's a PC update coming out later today that will address a few PC-specific things that have come up. Can't give you any details yet beyond that as far as what else might be in the works for any of the three platforms."
In regard to PS3 trophy support, Hines said, "It's going to happen, just not sure when. We'll let folks know when we have something more definitive."
268w ago - Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein shared the following via PS Blog:
You've probably already heard the news: this coming Monday, October 27th, there will be an update made available on the PlayStation Network to unlock the entire Trophy system for Grand Theft Auto IV on PLAYSTATION 3.
Rockstar Games asked that I share a bit more info with you.
Make sure to download and install the update before playing in order to start attaining Trophies. There will be 51 total trophies, broken down by four different levels: bronze, silver, gold and platinum - all contributing to your overall experience level on your PlayStation Network profile.
Among the 51 trophies to be released Monday, look for:
One Man Army - only those that are wily enough to survive a 6-star wanted level for a full 5 minutes will be rewarded with this one.
Dare Devil - an award for those who find and execute all of the Unique Stunt Jumps throughout Liberty City.
Chain Reaction - an Achievement for those who can pull off blowing up 10 vehicles in 10 seconds or less.
Liberty City Minute - for those that have completed the game story in less than 30 hours. As the Social Club's Story Club leaderboard can attest, this is not an easy feat.
