To quote: The major addition is a Retail PKG decryption and extraction tool. I also removed the extra tools as it wasn't needed, and wasted space, most external programs are gonna be taken out and be coded so it's internal. That way space, folder size and your Computers memory is more free.
I need to thank math because, this uses his AES engine and without it I would have had to code one on my own. (Don't worry I had his permission). It was truly a pain incorporating this into my program, much harder than the EDAT tools.
76w ago - Following up on the previous article, today master0wn3r at NGU (linked above) has made an updated guide on how to add Install Package Files on PS3 4.11 OFW essentially making it into a modified PlayStation 3 Shop / Kiosk Firmware.
Below is the guide, to quote: This firmware will not install / run PS3 homebrew packages! Everything you install on your console is on your own risk, this firmware has been tested and confirmed working, if you brick your console its 110% your own fault!
Hello all, I wanna show you all how to get install package files on your OFW 4.11. It still has some bugs but I am working on it
Please people, if you get errors don't blame me! be happy this is for OFW 4.11 and you don't have to downgrade first, this is a little step forward in the PS3 jailbreak / unlock for 4.11.
1. USB Stick
2. The Modded Firmware (below)
3. A PS3
4. Know how to get in Recovery mode
Complete Patch Blocker inside firmware, Blocks all game updates and any application that has a update server besides System Firmware Updater.
To quote: If anyone remembers a wile back when all the commonly used file hosts went down we lost a lot of files. Among them were the cheat pkg files that let you play your game the way you want to. I've made a custom disc backup that has a graphical interface for installing all of the cheat pkg files that I could find.
I thought you guys might like to check it out. There will be updates in the future any time a new cheat pkg is released or if I missed anything on the first release. You will only need to download the main disc backup once. All future updates will be able to be applied by simple drag-and-drop in windows. NO HASSLE GUARANTEE.
Alll credits go to the original posters and to the people that were able to salvage these download links. More info about what these cheat pkg files can do can be found here:

89w ago - Following up on the previous releases, this weekend PlayStation 3 developer ps3hen has made available XMBM+ PKG Compiler Toolkit - a PS3 Package builder and distributer homebrew application for Windows users.
To quote: After recent efforts to "extract our work back to source" and realising how annoying it is to individually re-package of the now large collection a packages which comprises 'a release' for the XMBM+. I bring the XMBM+ Package Compiler Toolkit.
After a day of re-learning batch with my tutor google, I've finished the tool which anyone working on the XMBM+ can use to make mastering/testing much easier. The basics of what it does:
1/ Compile, rename and post to dropbox (requires access to dropbox account)
2/ Compile rename and send to a specified directory on computer
3/ Cool little other features
Anyway to save time modifying important the directories, I've taken the liberty of making them variables existing in the settings.ini. Modifying the settings.ini is necessary...
