90w ago - Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price has announced today that the Ratchet & Clank Collection for PS3 is going 1080p with multiplayer included!
To quote: It's amazing that it's been almost 10 years since the release of the original Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 2.
A lot has changed since 2002, but your loyalty to our furry Lombax and his faithful robot companion has endured. As we reach the 10th Anniversary of Ratchet & Clank, we wanted to commemorate the achievements of the Ratchet & Clank saga.
Today, we're delighted to announce the Ratchet & Clank 10th Anniversary Celebration, which also simultaneously addresses the biggest current request from our fans: The Ratchet & Clank Collection. This will contain Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal - all remastered by Idol Minds, working closely with our team at Insomniac Games.
In addition to a full 1080p HD remaster (720p stereoscopic 3D support) of all three games and the inclusion of three Platinum Trophies, we're happy to confirm that the online competitive multiplayer from Up Your Arsenal will be included. Now you can check out the acclaimed multiplayer mode that many of you didn't get to experience the first time on PS2.

97w ago - Namco Bandai Games Community Manager Rich Bantegui has shared some video footage today of Armored Core V prepping the PS3 community for some deep multiplayer action below!
To quote: FromSoftware, developer of last fall's critically acclaimed Action-RPG Dark Souls, has been spreading bullets from mech-to-mech for nearly 15 years since the very first Armored Core premiered on the PSone back in 1997.
So needless to say, when it comes to intense metal-shredding action and hardcore strategy, the team at FromSoftware knows what they're doing... but will you?
Armored Core V hits consoles across North America on March 20th, and when it does, we at Namco Bandai Games want everyone up to be up to speed on all of the ins and outs on what it will take to survive while piloting the Armored Cores (or "ACs") in the dusty, shrapnel-laden world full of limitless online gameplay possibilities.
I've been learning more and more from the team about Armored Core V over the last few months between bouts in Soulcalibur V, and the sheer level of detail and customization here has put my jaw on the...
104w ago - Today Team Ninja have shared multiplayer details on the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3 title for PS3 and also Ninja Gaiden Sigma+ for the PlayStation Vita handheld.
To quote from Sony Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein: Earlier this week, Team Ninja set up a temporary dojo in San Francisco to share news and game time with Ninja Gaiden 3 and Dead or Alive 5 on the PlayStation 3.
Of particular note was the first hands-on demo of Ninja Gaiden 3's multiplayer offering in the form of 4v4 Team Deathmatch and Battle Royale modes.
It's a bold move to add a competitive multiplayer mode to a melee-based action game, and I struggled to think of a comparable product out there; it definitely stands on its own in the action genre. My favorite touch: when struck by a deathblow, you can fight off your attacker by mashing the buttons, and then choose to "die with honor" via seppuku.
After a lengthy playtest, we were granted some face-to-face time with the team's Head Ninja, Yosuke Hayashi. Here we chat PlayStation Move support in NG3, working on the Vita, and how many actual ninja are on Team Ninja:
108w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Gabriel Graziani has posted up a video today introducing the Sentinel in Assassin's Creed Revelations for PS3 Multiplayer fans.
To quote: In Assassin's Creed Revelations, we're linking our multiplayer and single-player experiences by including our multiplayer characters in the single-player campaign.
What we want to show you today is a profile of one of these characters, specifically The Sentinel: a former Assassin who betrayed the Brotherhood to join the Templars. Watch our new video to discover how this vile turncoat will cross paths with Ezio!
You can see from the video that The Sentinel uses techniques in multiplayer that you might expect of an Assassin, killing quickly and quietly. He favors the discreet use of knives and his trusty Hidden Blade to eliminate his targets without alerting any nearby assailants.
Of course, he's not above the occasional flourish of brutality, crushing the life from his targets with a precisely placed stomp... which is always a useful tool for intimidating one's opponents!
Tomorrow, you'll all get the chance to step into the role of The Sentinel when Assassin's Creed Revelations launches. You'll also be introduced to the new...
