Creed: Revelations Multiplayer Beta will be hitting PlayStation Plus for subscribers.

To quote: PlayStation Plus is heating up in August with exclusive access to some of the most anticipated Fall releases including Resistance 3 and Assassin's Creed: Revelations!

With the 8/23 Store Update, Plus subscribers will have access to some of the multiplayer battlegrounds in Resistance 3 with the Multiplayer Beta, which includes two major maps in the game: the Seaside of Glamorgan, Wales, and the Trainyard in Bogota, Colombia. Be one of the first to get your hands on this breakthrough FPS experience.

With a special 9/3 Store publish, Plus subscribers will have access to the spectacular cat and mouse gameplay that makes up Assassin's Creed: Revelations' multiplayer modes via the Beta. Get access to 3 maps, 9 characters, and 4 modes of undercover assassin action.

To quote: If you've been following Resistance 3 coverage over the last few months, one of the cool features of our game is that many of our main multiplayer maps take place outside of the United States (where the single-player campaign focuses on Joseph Capelli's harrowing journey from Haven, Oklahoma to New York City).

In the multiplayer beta, you will find the Trainyard map, set in sunny Bogota, Colombia, as well as the Seaside map set in Glamorgan, Wales, UK. Earlier this year, we revealed the Prison MP map, which is set in Fort Lamy, Republic of Chad in Africa.

Today we're revealing the fourth of our major 16-player maps for Resistance 3. This map brings the fight to the Australian Outback, as the Main Street of Alice Springs, Australia is our latest MP map. Situated in the Northern Territory of Australia, Alice Springs is a sun-baked, dusty, desert town in Australia.

To quote: Hopefully you caught the news yesterday that Resistance 3 has gone gold! We also debuted our new story-centric campaign trailer.

You may also know that the Resistance 3 Multiplayer Beta early access has begun for owners of specially marked copies of SOCOM 4. We're still very much in beta mode, with regards to fixes (especially for matchmaking to address the freezes and disconnects), so please keep reporting what you see.

98w ago - Today Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer has announced that the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta hit 1 million+ players and shared news of a new co-op adventure and map arriving on July 10, 2011.

To quote: One day after the Beta went fully public, we passed one million unique players in the UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Beta.

Not only that, but the player count is growing with each passing day! We couldn't be prouder of our community coming out in such numbers to play in the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta.

Next week is the FINAL week in the Beta - we'll be shutting down the servers on Thursday, July 14th - so be sure to get your fill of UNCHARTED 3 before it goes away for a few months.

We're exceptionally excited as today is the day the UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Beta becomes available to everyone on PSN! By the end of today, anyone and everyone with access to the PlayStation Store should be able to view and download the UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Beta - no codes required!

As we head into the second week of the UNCHARTED 3 Beta, we're updating the available gametypes to the following:

July 4 to July 9 Gametypes:

Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Team Objective, Hardcore, Co-op Hunter
Maps: Airstrip, Chateau

You'll notice Team Objective and Co-op Hunter as new additions for this week. I've been liking the Co-op Hunter gametype lately - the twist of adding in human players into what seems to be a Co-op mode is quite intriguing.
