191w ago - Today Associate Producer William Weissbaum has shared an exclusive God of War III music video interview dubbed 'Even Gods Cry' on the PlayStation Blog.
To quote: With the recent release of the God of War III Ultimate Edition, many of you, when not busy swinging those double deadly Blades of Chaos, have been rocking nonstop to the sounds of the God of War: Blood & Metal album.
One of the tracks in particular has been gaining rapidly in popularity, "Even Gods Cry" by The Turtlenecks. With its haunting melody and thoughtful lyrics, it's no wonder that it has many fans tapping their feet and scratching their heads.
After much pleading and begging Matthew Cappiello and Noah Belson, the illusive Turtlenecks themselves, agreed to allow the PS.Blog to have the world exclusive premiere of the "Even Gods Cry" music video.
Better yet they were kind enough to sit down with me and answer a few questions providing some true insight to the men behind the music.
What Inspired you to write "Even Gods Cry"?
Noah Belson: What inspired DaVinci to paint The Last Supper? Or Mike Angelo to take brush to the Sistine...
196w ago - Today Sony's Social Media Senior Specialist Chris Morell has posted a God of War III PS3 interview with Design Director Todd Papy, as follows:
Last week, I was lucky enough to attend our God of War III event in Hollywood, where we revealed the opening portion of the game to press. Yes, as you could imagine, jaws dropped.
I'm not going to spoil anything here, and frankly, I made sure to keep my head turned for the majority of hands-on time because I'm all about going in fresh when I finally have retail copy in hand.
But, in addition to hosting the event, key members of the Santa Monica Studios development team were on hand to chat. Last week you sent me questions for Stig, but unfortunately, he was sick and very limited during the event.
So we're saving most of those up for when we talk to Stig during GDC next week. But Design Director Todd Papy was nice enough to fill in (and he's an insanely cool guy), so we sat down to talk God of War III, and I couldn't help but throw a few of your questions his way. Hope you like it.
And make sure that if you do have more questions for Stig, drop them in this post via...
199w ago - Sony's Social Media Senior Specialist Chris Morell has shared a Final Fantasy XIII PS3 interview today with Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Director Motomu Toriyama.
To quote: We're heading up to San Francisco later today to speak with Mr. Kitase and Mr. Toriyama, as well as FFXIII's Battle Director Yuji Abe for the first time.
So now's the time to get those final questions out there (That's Final Fantasy XIII only, so please keep your questions on that topic. They won't be discussing anything Versus- or Agito-related). We're almost exactly a month out from the game's release, after all!
Thanks so much for your many questions – they were far too numerous for me to ask them all, but I hope you agree that I covered all the important ones with the game's Producer, Yoshinori Kitase, and Director, Motomu Toriyama. Can you believe it's only four weeks until the game is in our hands? It's been a long wait, but we're almost...
202w ago - Today SCEE Social Media Manager Jem Alexander has announced that Sony is seeking your Final Fantasy XIII PS3 interview questions, which can be submitted via the link above on the European PlayStation Blog.
To quote: I still have to pinch myself to test that I'm not dreaming, but it only results in my arms being covered in bruises. Which means just one thing: Final Fantasy XIII really is releasing in less than two months time.
Okay, two things: Final Fantasy XIII really is releasing in less than two months and I need to cut my nails.
Luckily the wait will be slightly less painful for me because later today I'll be seeing the English version of Final Fantasy XIII in action and asking some questions to the game's producer, Yoshinori Kitase, and director, Motomu Toriyama. I can't bring you guys along and let you play the game with me (even though I'd love to!), but I can get your questions answered.
So make sure you fill up the comments section with your most burning questions and I'll pick the best ones tonight to ask to the guys behind the game.
Unfortunately it looks like I'm not going to get this one video'd, but at least this means you'll get your hands on the answers sooner.
