70w ago - I have done this PS3 PUP Unpacker & Decrypter v2.2 homebrew application tool (basically is an script that use other tools) a long time ago for easily unpacking a PlayStation 3 PUP file for those who don't know how. This works on Cygwin and Ubuntu (not CMD windows)

72w ago - Following up on the previous release by PlayStation 3 developer Hotz8611, today the popular homebrew PSN application ReActPSN has been updated to version 2.10 for PS3 3.55 CFW users which requires no VSH patching and no aa user among the changes outlined below.

77w ago - This weekend PlayStation 3 developer PsDev has released a homebrew application called PS3 CFW Folder Checker along with the source code as well.

From the included ReadMe file: Just place the .exe file in your flash drive where you have your folders and cfw setup run it and it will tell you if there is a typo, the foldername correct, the pup name correct and then if so it tell you your ready to go.
