110w ago - Sega of America Community Manager Kellie Parker has officially announced today that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is coming to the PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is a thrilling new racing experience coming to PS3 and PS Vita, featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and a fantastic cast of SEGA All-Stars.

This iconic cast will be competing across land, air and water in vehicles that fully transform from cars, to planes to boats.

Following on from the huge success of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, the characters now have their own unique, transforming vehicles designed to take advantage of the varying terrain.

The lineup on the Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed grid sees SEGA favorites - including Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr. Eggman and AiAi - return to battle against newcomers, including Gilius Thunderhead of Golden Axe and Vyse of Skies of Arcadia.

Many attendees got to play the game for the first time at E3, and chose from one of three available levels: Dragon Canyon (based on Panzer Dragoon), Temple Trouble (based on Super Monkey Ball), and Adder's Lair (based on Golden Axe). In addition to this new track, we also announced that Joe Mushashi from Shinobi will be a playable character in the game.

To quote: In the weeks that have followed the PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale reveal, we've been asking you all to stay tuned for more exciting announcements.

Well it's finally time to deliver! We're very pleased to announce that in addition to coming to the PS3, PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale will also be available on the PS Vita with full Cross Play support!

Equally exciting is that Nathan Drake of the famed UNCHARTED series and Big Daddy from the amazing Bioshock universe join us as the latest additions to the PlayStation All Stars roster!

The pick-up and play nature of PlayStation All Stars and the portable power of the PS Vita seem to be made for each other, so bringing the two together was a no-brainer. With Cross Play support, owners of the PS3 and PS Vita versions will be able to play against each other seamlessly, via both local and online play.

Both versions of the game feature identical gameplay at a blazing-fast 60 frames-per-second, offering the complete PlayStation All-Stars experience. PlayStation All- Stars PS Vita takes advantage of many of the unique Vita features,...

118w ago - SuperBot Entertainment Game Director Omar Kendall has shared a video today showcasing PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale in action on the PS3 entertainment system!

To quote: Today marks a special day for us here at [Register or Login to view links], as we finally get to share our game with the world! PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale existed as an idea in the hearts of gamers way before SuperBot got around to making it, and the expectations of the fans are really what drive us.

This game is a labor of love, and we're excited to be able to finally show it - learn more in our new video interview above.

So what is PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale? First and foremost, it's a celebration of a storied history of great characters and rich worlds brought together in one game.

And for us, there's no better way to celebrate than by creating an experience that players can sit around one screen and enjoy together.

There are probably a few types of games that can be enjoyed by four players simultaneously, but for us at SuperBot, a brawler was the obvious choice for one really good reason: the developers here at SuperBot really like fighting games

Video: World Gone Sour on PSN Today, Stars The Sour Patch Kids

100°
120w ago - Beefy Media Executive Producer Adam Boyes has posted up a video announcing that World Gone Sour hits PSN today starring the Sour Patch Kids.

To quote: If you could ask the candy that you eat what its lifelong goals are, what would it say? Would it tell you that it wants to be an astronaut? Drive in the Indy 500? Run a marathon?

Probably not. If you asked a Sour Patch Kid that question, the answer would be this: To make it to the human belly, their sweet rapture.

And that, my friends, is the premise of our new video game World Gone Sour starring the sweet-then-sour candy, Sour Patch Kids.

We took that premise, added Creed Bratton from NBC's "The Office" as our "sometimes sweet and sometimes sour" narrator, got Wu-Tang's own Method Man to create a [Register or Login to view links] included in the game, and set out to make a ridiculously fun game for you to enjoy.

World Gone Sour is a puzzle platformer made by the incredibly talented team at Playbrains (makers of the PSN-exclusive game Sideway where you play as an inch-high candy in a twisted miniature world where you play through sticky movie theatre floors, across sizzling hamburger grills, through a psychotic doll house, and over razor sharp buzz saws.

Starhawk Private PS3 Beta Q&A Detailed: Reaching for the Stars

100°
137w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has shared Q&A details today on the Starhawk private PS3 Beta as part of an interview below.

To quote: At this very moment, a small group of lucky testers are putting the Starhawk Private Beta through its paces. During last week's PlayStation holiday showcase for New York City media, I had a chance to go hands-on with the beta.

But I wanted to learn more about the beta's reception among the diehard Warhawk community, so I chatted with Senior Producer Harvard Bonin to learn some key findings from the beta: the most popular weapons and vehicles, the sneakiest tactics, and what beta players can expect next.

PlayStation.Blog: Obviously, there's a private beta going on right now. What have been some of the key learnings?

Oh, boy. There have been too many to name here, but one of the key learnings has been how closely we need to listen to hardcore Warhawk players. We made some changes to the flight controls that they reacted to negatively. We're now in the process of addressing that, and it's only because of the beta that we realized. Without a beta, we have no way to do that.

We've also seen a lot of strategies we couldn't have anticipated. The Build & Battle configurations are pretty interesting, people placing...
