47w ago - SFB Games Founder Tom Vian posted up a video showcasing Haunt the House: Terrortown which will be possessing PlayStation Mobile users today!
To quote: Hey everyone! SFB Games is comprised of two brothers, Adam and Tom Vian from London.
We've been making games for many years (mostly for browsers, under the name "The Super Flash Bros." and this is our first opportunity to make a game that can be enjoyed on a real handheld console.
When we heard about PlayStation Mobile and thought about PS Vita as a platform, there was only one game we had in mind. The colourful graphics and simple controls of Haunt the House work perfectly in this context - it's a really natural fit.
The original Haunt the House was a browser game we made for Halloween back in 2010, and since then we've come a long way as designers.
The basic idea of Haunt the House: you float around as a ghost, possessing any objects you see and use them to perform spooky haunting actions to any humans who are nearby! The aim of the game is to scare every single human away from the town, but this game also has an extra objective.
The first thing we wanted to design was the town itself,...
48w ago - Atlus Editor Nich Maragos has invited fans to download Demon's Souls for PlayStation 3 on PSN this coming Tuesday.
Below are the details, to quote: A lot of unusual things go on here at ATLUS, and as a publisher known for delivering great JRPG content, Demon's Souls represented something unique even for us: runaway mainstream success.
In the years since its release, Demon's Souls went far above and beyond our usual humble offerings, partly because it's such a special game. It's a Japanese-developed RPG, made by From Software, but it has a distinctly Western look and feel in the weight of its movements and the ruthlessness of its enemies and environments.
It's a single-player title, but it has a strong online component unlike anything that came before it, where you can summon other players as friendly ghosts to give you a hand, or be invaded by hostile marauders without warning.
Its unsparing difficulty seemed to mark it as destined to be appreciated only by a select few, yet it's been universally lauded (and awarded Game of the Year by a few, including GameSpot) and remains our highest-selling title ever.
As a thank you to the fans who have supported it this far and kept the servers burning, we're excited to announce that Demon's Souls will...
49w ago - Nearly two months after the previous update, today I have posted a guide and video on how to downgrade a PS3 4.31 OFW console (including CECH-300x slims) to 4.30 Rogero v2.03 CFW using a PS3 Hardware Flasher with no 3.55 needed.
Very easy tutorial. Follow the steps to downgrade a PS3, but when you get to the first step of the USB downgrading part after putting your PS3 into service mode, use Rogero 4.30 CFW v2.03 on the root of the USB with the lv2diag.self to downgrade instead of the 3.55.
So again, no 3.55 ever touches the PS3 during this whole setup! Doing this will also now allow CECH-300x models original slims to be downgraded to 4.30 CFW as long as it never touches 3.55
The whole reason for this was to find out if the E3 fits a CECH-400xx model super slim models, but all I needed was proof that you can downgrade from 4.31 to 4.30 CFW with a flasher.
So if any one out there has an E3 and a new super slim model please test this if it works! You can make back ups of the NOR incase it fails.
Here is a Christmas present from French Developers Team SGK, to quote roughly translated: Hi everyone, the Noel father went through my message box after this afternoon and guess what there was when I logged?
