271w ago - IGN has posted footage of the entire opening level of The Conduit, a generous fifteen minutes of action in which hero Mr. Ford takes down enemy marines, shoots up bipedal "Drudge" warriors, and charges down corridors.
Then some more corridors. And then even more corridors. Seriously: there's a lot of corridors in this. A lot of conduits, even.

271w ago - This is what happens when gamers fuse their favorite games together. While I can't particularly see Halo 3, and LittleBigPlanet fusing together well, one creator has gone through with it, and created his very own Halo 3: Finish the Fight level.
In the video below, Sackboy is wearing a green costume to imitate Master Chief, and as your playing the level, the Bungie song kicks giving it the extra effect.
The Warthog vehicles I have to admit are pretty nifty, and while you won't be necessarily kicking alien ass, this is definitely one of the better levels in the beta so far. Be sure to finish the fight if you have access to the beta, or watch the video.

272w ago - Yesterday Ushiro for PSP was announced by Level-5, and today they have unveiled another four titles as well.
For those who didn't know, Level-5 is the independent Japanese developer who was worked on everything from early PlayStation 2 RPG Dark Cloud to the world-beating, epic Dragon Quest VIII.
The games set to be unveiled, as profiled by this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine, are as follows:
Ninokuni: The Another World (Nintendo DS, with an port to an unspecified console also planned) is an RPG starring a 13-year-old boy who's invited into a magical fantasy land by a spirit, a world eerily close to Earth that's under the rule of a dark sorcerer.
There he hopes to deal with the issues that haunt his life, not the least of which being that he was responsible for his mother's passing not long ago. This project is no doubt the biggest announcement of the day, mainly thanks to one small detail: Studio Ghibli, Japan's most famous animation studio, is working on Ninokuni's animated sequences, the first time the company has ever provided original work for a video game.
Danboru Senki (PSP) is a build-and-fight RPG with more than a passing resemblance...

272w ago - Sam_Protagonist has confirmed on the official PS boards (linked above) that the online level creation mode in LittleBigPlanet will not be accessible at launch as originally planned.
According to his post, the functionality will be implemented through a post-launch patch due out at an unspecified date, however, users will still be able to create levels with friends offline and share them online.
To quote: This is correct. The ability to create with your friends online will come as part of the first major update after the game is released. Offline creating with up to 4 people on one PlayStation 3 however is available right from the get go.
Just to clarify what this means for the game, here's a few more FAQs -
Is online create in the game from launch?
No it's not, however it will be included in the first game update after launch. We're working on making this available as quickly as possible, but want to make sure it's right before releasing it.
What does online create actually mean?
Online create, quite simply, is the ability to use the create side of the game in an online multiplayer fashion.
So I can still share my levels?
Absolutely. All of the sharing features of the game are up and running.
