180w ago - With today's PS3 Firmware 3.40 Update came some documented features from Sony as well as some things not so noticable, including limitations on the PlayStation 3 Video Edit and Uploader application and some hidden PS3 system software update features.
According to Examiner.com (linked above), with Sony's PS3 Video Editor & Uploader you can't edit or upload content added to the system prior to the 3.40 Firmware update, you can't use copyrighted videos, and the application (which requires 44MB of PS3 HDD space) places a time limit of ten minutes on each video that is edited.
Moving on to the PS3 Firmware 3.40 hidden features, Jes03 noted HERE the following, to quote:
"One feature not said about is the new photo albums. You can upload/download to Facebook and even view Facebook albums on the PS3."
185w ago - We've seen KillZone 3 PlayStation 3 logos and target dates in recent months, and today pictures from the latest GamePro Magazine have surfaced courtesy of Easyle alongside new KillZone 3 PS3 details- including 3D effects and a game engine with the help of Naughty Dog!
To quote: Included in the article (while I'm reading) on KillZone 3:

• Will include arctic levels.
• One mission in the game involves rescuing ISA Captain Narville.
• Game is playable in 3D!
• Have to wear 3D glasses, apparently the 3D effects are "crazy."
• Combat is "unchanged from predecessor."
• Or is it? Hand to hand combat involves you "Unloading a string of different (and often brutal) attacks on stunned enemies."
• The scale is supposed to be "bigger...
187w ago - Today Kelly Revak of The Behemoth has shared video footage revealing some of the new features which are included in the latest Castle Crashers PSN update.
To quote: First of all, we are happy to report that we have finished our internal testing, and have sent the title off to a third-party agent for some final testing before we submit it to the PlayStation Store.
While we still don't want to guess at a release date, we are definitely in the final stages of this adventure. Meanwhile, we wanted to tell you about another neat new feature.
We have always had more ideas for Castle Crashers than we've had time to implement. So since we've had to rewrite the code for the game anyway as we bring it to PS3, we've been able to add some features that have been lingering in the backs of our minds since this whole thing started. Here is an example:
Player Arena matches will now allow you to choose teams! You can play 2-on-2 or take on the world with 1-v-3. Of course, you can still do free-for-all as well. Sharing a sweet, sweet victory with your friend is like eating a delicious cake in front of your other friends while they cry.
187w ago - PlayStation Network Executive Producer Kevin Furuichi has posted up a video preview of Sony's Qore Episode 24 today, which features Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, LittleBigPlanet 2, PlayStation Home, and Jens Pulver.
To quote: The Prince of Persia is everywhere! Along with a major motion picture from the same team that brought us Pirates of the Caribbean, the character will be appearing in a graphic novel and a new videogame set in the time frame between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within.
Audrey Cleo spoke with the developers at Ubisoft to learn more about the new gameplay mechanics, while Veronica Belmont explores Wondercon 2010 to catch up with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. There's also a preview of the graphic novel in the Qore digital gallery.
Qore also provides an early look at the just-announced LittleBigPlanet 2! The team visited Media Molecule in the UK to understand how the creativity of the community inspired them to push the boundaries in the sequel to transform the platform game into a platform for games.
