197w ago - Jonathan Blow, game developer of the critically acclaimed game 'Braid', has shared with us through his blog that he's created a new Web site and blog for his next game called The Witness.
You can start following the blog here. The first information he shared through his blog are some wonderful concept art pictures, but it doesn't say much yet about the game.. Don't forget to read the caption of each image!
The main Web site also contains the following poem:
"Through many births,
I have wondered on and on,
Searching for, but never finding,
The builder of this house.
To be born again and again, is suffering.
House-builder, you are seen!
You will not build a house again!
All the rafters are broken,
The ridgepole destroyed;
The mind, gone to the Unconstructed,
Has reached the end of craving!"
If anyone can make any sense of it, feel free to comment!

204w ago - SCEA PR Manager Eric Levine has unveiled the MLB 10 The Show PS3 box art, and confirmed that it will be hitting stores on March 2, 2010.
To quote: Happy New Year Baseball Fans and Welcome to The Show!
We're less than two months away from Spring Training and the MLB off season news is making some big waves–Randy Johnson called it quits, Andre Dawson is headed to Cooperstown, and Matt Holliday is getting paid.
More importantly though, I'm happy to give you the exclusive look at the brand new MLB 10 The Show box art featuring our own PlayStation Hall of Famer, Joe Mauer. For those of you looking to get your work in on the virtual diamond before Opening Day, MLB 10 The Show will officially hit store shelves on MARCH 2!
So far we've been getting a great response from media who have played MLB 10. ESPN recently called The Show "A franchise that simply captures the sport of baseball better than any other, past or present."
I also thought this would be a good opportunity to highlight some...
204w ago - Forum user Digital-Nitrate of GTPlanet.net (linked above) has posted a few scans from the latest PlayStation: The Official Magazine (PTOM) which reveals both Gran Turismo 5 Night Racing and GT5 PS3 box art.
Apparently the game will have over 1,000 vehicles including Indy cars. All of which has modeled interiors, external visual deformation and mechanical damage.
170 "premium" cars also feature internal deformation. The magazine also confirms that the racing tracks will be supporting weather effects and day/night cycles.
From the gameplay perspective, Gran Turismo 5 will be using the PlayStation Eye for head-tracking. Moreover, you can set up the game to be displayed on three screens for multi-display if you have three PlayStation 3 systems lying around. Finally, the game will have Youtube HD uploading and 16-players online support.
Gran Turismo 5 is slated for a summer release on the PlayStation 3.
