111w ago - Today Brian Fleming at Sucker Punch Productions has shared the launch trailer for InFamous: Festival of Blood which is now on PSN and includes PlayStation Move support!
To quote: It's been a long time since my last PlayStation.Blog post, and today's entry is a little....different. I'll start with the marketing facts (inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood available now!! $9.99!!
Only $7.99 if you are a PlayStation Plus member!!!) but really, I thought I'd give you a little insight into why and how we ended up making a vampire based spin-off of inFAMOUS.
For us, we'd been working for two projects and five-plus years on the main storyline of inFAMOUS. We wanted the DLC to be a chance to take all that art and technology and do something fun and different for players.
We knew we couldn't just release some more missions or a skin pack, so we took a bunch of pitches from all the departments here at the studio for what we might do. We wanted something that fit the world of inFAMOUS, would be fun to work on, and ideally would be unexpected, too.
One of the strong pitches we got was originally called "Vampire City" (a play on "Empire City" from inFAMOUS). The pitch was that Zeke was trying to impress a...

Veronica Belmont also catches up with industry leader Tim Schafer for a trip down memory lane, as he remembers his early days at LucasArts , working with Jack Black, and his more recent work on innovative games such as Stacking.
October is also a big month for PlayStation Move. With many new titles set to launch, Veronica gets into the groove of Everybody Dance, Little Big Planet Move edition, Eyepet & Friends, and Carnival Island. Enjoy October's Qore!
114w ago - Today 2K Games Community Manager Ronnie Singh has shared details of NBA 2K12 for PS3, which introduces On The Move - exclusively for Sony's PlayStation Move below!
To quote: NBA 2K11 was an enormous success for us as we brought Michael Jordan back to the virtual hardwood for the first time in years. That was followed by extremely remarkable reviews, many calling NBA 2K11 "the greatest sports game of this generation".
People asked how we could possibly come close to matching last year's success. It started with unprecedented success at E3 where we picked up multiple Best of E3 Nominees/Awards and even had NBA superstar Kobe Bryant show off NBA 2K12 using the Move at the PlayStation Press Conference.
Many have said we've achieved the impossible, somehow surpassing 2K1. And with launch Tuesday, the hype is at a fever pitch. This game is better than ever, and this past Friday's IGN score of 9.5, saying "NBA 2K12 has dethroned its predecessor as the BEST basketball game of all time."
How have we accomplished this? In addition to our innovative gameplay controls and unrivalled realistic NBA action, this year, we decided to above and beyond last year, not saving any punches. Yes, Michael Jordan is back but this year he...
114w ago - Trendy Entertainment Designer and Marketing Director Phillip M. Asher has shared a new video today announcing that Dungeon Defenders will be hitting PS3 via PSN and PlayStation Move on October 18 in 3D!
To quote: We can finally and officially announce our launch date for Dungeon Defenders on PSN. Ready... October 18th!
For those of you who might not know, Dungeon Defenders is a four-player co-operative Tower Defense action-RPG. You can create heroes from four distinct classes to defend the land of Etheria.
Throughout your journey you can customize and level your heroes, forge equipment, gather epic amounts of loot, collect and raise pets, play through multiple difficulties, and more.
But that's not all! Today we're also debuting our next developer diary video. This third of the series goes into all the details one of the most important and most FUN parts of the game - the Combat phase.
This is where your strategies, tower and trap placements, upgrades and approach (and those of up to three of your friends if you're playing local or online co-op) will be tested by wave after wave of baddies that are hell-bent on destroying your Eternia Crystals.
The Combat phase is not only about testing out your...
To quote: Hi all, I'm releasing Eskiss with Move support and I think the instructions on how to use it require a bit more than what twitter allows (from my usual small updates).
You can download here the Eskiss package for PS3 3.55, and here the package for PS3 3.41.
The instructions are simple, you can still play with a normal mouse if you want, or use the controller to emulate the mouse, just like before. But, if you have a PS Eye camera plugged in, then it will also be ready to handle the Move.
If it detects a move controller, the ball on the controller will be white, at that point, you must press the Action button while pointing the controller to the camera (there's no image feedback on the screen, so just point and press the action button). This will calibrate the controller and...
