Rumor: MotorStorm 3 in Development, Playable PS3 Demo Leaked

200°
230w ago - Today tzare of [Register or Login to view links] has leaked a picture (below) of what appears to be a playable PS3 demo for MotorStorm 3 in development.

It wasn't long ago that MotorStorm 3 rumors first circulated when it was discovered that the URL address MotorStorm3.com redirected you to Sony's Web site, meaning MotorStorm fans now have another piece of evidence that it's currently being worked on.

In the picture, it appears as if an unknown PSN user is running a playable version of MotorStorm 3. Although the title of the game is missing a subtitle (Pacific Rift, Arctic Edge, etc.), many feel it is indeed legitimate.

To quote: "MotorStorm 3 is a possibility although it hasn't been officially announced by Sony. An E3 unveiling is possible but who knows maybe the game will be announced before E3."

Hacked XBox Backwards Compatibility v5829 for XBox 360 Leaked

400°
231w ago - Recently a hacked XBox 1 Backwards Compatibility update - version 5829 - for XBox 360 Devkits (and possibly modded units, although untested) has been leaked.

Download: [Register or Login to view links]

From the ReadMe File: This is a devkit version of the retail xbox360 backwards compatibility that was released November 2007.

To install this, copy the Compatibilty folder to your devkits Y drive. You may want to remove any existing files, although this should overwrite all files.

This version has been hacked to play unsupported games, however this doesn't mean they will work. This release includes a hacked version of the official frontend, however you may want to try my replacement frontend which allows you to set emulation options for each game.

At the moment there are 556 officially supported games, (ie games that should work 100% or close to it). A list of these games is available here:

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm

Hacks:

I've attempted to remove any limits on the emulator, although i left in game ratings checks in case you dont want your little ones to play violent games

This can be toggled in the dashboard...

235w ago - I was watching hard news today when I heard that a video of Sonic 4 Alpha Splash Hill Zone Gameplay was leaked via an anonymous source.

So for those Sega Sonic 4 fans out there, here's some awesome game play footage courtesy of 1UP, Enjoy!

To quote: "For those of you left dazed and confused by the 2 seconds of gameplay included in the game's debut trailer, this might clear things up a bit.

The video displays four of the zones to be included into episode 1 by the names of Splash Hill Zone, Lost Labyrinth Zone, Casino Street Zone and Mad Gear Zone.

There's also a row of slots that can hold chaos emeralds at the bottom of the stage select screen which could be used for a special stage."

Video: Duke Nukem Forever Leaked Gameplay Footage

500°
237w ago - Recently misterwabo uploaded a video of what appears to be some leaked gameplay footage of Duke Nukem Forever to YouTube.

The newly found remains from the exploded corpse of Duke Nukem Forever have given followers of the Duke Nukem soap opera another chance to grieve the loss of 3D Realms' game.

To quote: "The apparently leaked footage is dark, blurry, occasionally covered in on-screen blood and might be familiar feeling to those of you who have sought out every scrap of footage and screen shot from the long in development Duke Nukem Forever.

At least, that's what we think this new-to-us footage is from, based on the enemies, fingerless gloves and big weapons.

And you know, some of it looks quite good, particularly the lovely headshot scatter and explosions. Plus, how often do you get accurate tumbleweed physics?"

Check out the video below!
