138w ago - Today Sucker Punch Productions Brian Fleming has posted up some InFamous 2 PS3 from the Sucker Punch Studio Tour revealing Behemoth, Forced Conduits, and User-Generated Content.
To quote: Have you ever put on a wedding or a huge party? A bunch of us are in working this weekend, but it's not just the normal bug fixing, polishing, and optimizing.
Today we're hanging art, arranging some furniture, and (shudder) cleaning up our offices. All of this is being done in preparation for the 60+ media members who will be flying up to Seattle on Monday for our "Media Day" event for inFAMOUS 2.
So you can think of this as our once-every-two-years chance to spruce up the place, and put on a little bit of a show.
So here's my Virtual Media Day for you guys, a blow-by-blow breakdown of what we're showing.
In the morning we'll be hosting all the international press members on a tour of our studios in Bellevue. We will hold out some hope for good weather so we can do some interviews and photos out on the deck.
We'll turn the visitors loose on the bustling metropolis that is Bellevue, Washington and start prepping for our afternoon show. South of the Mariners stadium, we'll be hosting an evening event...
139w ago - Sucker Punch Productions' Brian Fleming has shared a video today spotlighting InFamous 2: The Quest for Power on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.
To quote: Today I'm here to talk about everyone's favorite topic: powers! More specifically, how does Cole manage to improve on is already impressive set of electrical abilities?
For those of you who don't know the original inFAMOUS story, Cole's electrical powers appear when he's caught in the blast of a mysterious device called the Ray Sphere.
Cole gains more and more abilities, becomes more and more powerful, and survives the gauntlet of Empire City... but he also is given a glimpse into his future. He realizes that even at the height of his powers, he is no match for the challenge that awaits. A battle with a great Beast looms, and Cole isn't ready to face it.
So in inFAMOUS 2, Cole travels South to New Marais to trace a path to the man behind the Ray Sphere technology, Dr. Sebastian Wolfe. With buddy Zeke riding shotgun, they set off to find the key to the next step in Cole's evolution and a new level of power- powers that will be necessary if Cole hopes to survive the upcoming battle.
When Cole and Zeke eventually track down Dr. Wolfe, he explains...

144w ago - Today Sucker Punch Productions Development Director Chris Zimmerman has revealed alongside a video that InFamous 2 for PS3 will be getting user-created missions offering infinite possibilities as part of a limited Beta this April.
To quote: Here at Sucker Punch, we've spent the last couple of years hard at work on inFAMOUS 2.
Over the last nine months or so, we've talked about a lot of things that make I2 awesome–things like crazy new powers for Cole, super-powered sidekicks, radically improved graphics and special effects, a cool new karma system with branching story lines and multiple endings–but we've managed to keep one major feature completely secret. Until today.
Sandbox games like inFAMOUS 2 are a ton of fun. There's a whole city to explore, and we provide lots of stuff to do in the city... but no matter how many missions and mini-missions and systemic opportunities and branching story lines we add to the game, eventually the story ends.
We thought inFAMOUS 2 would be better if it didn't end–if you never ran out of missions and mini-missions to play and things to do. So... we spent the last two years adding a User-Generated Content feature to the game.
145w ago - SCEA Associate Product Marketing Manager Chuck Lacson has shared a new InFamous 2 PS3 Karma trailer video today and more, as follows:
Today we kick off the weekend with GTTV's visit to Sucker Punch and a new trailer where Cole is caught between two women. (That guy has it rough, doesn't he?)
New Karma Duality Trailer
So we've been talking a lot about the game's new Karma system the last few weeks. The Western interpretation of Karma (according to my good friend Wikipedia) states that performing positive actions results in a good condition and negative actions results in bad effect and situations.
In inFAMOUS 2, Cole will have new powers and will come across many crossroads. Ultimately, it will be up to you to decide the path you want him to walk. Look out for Cole's good and evil outfits, a sneak peek of a new faction he has to face, and a small taste of Cole's new ICE POWERS!
