Lords of the Fallen on PS4 Leads Bandai Namco's 2014 Showcase

33w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements announced that Lords of the Fallen on PS4 leads Bandai Namco's 2014 showcase.

To quote: Lords of the Fallen for PS4, What do fallen gods and iconic ninjas have in common? Bandai Namco, of course!

Earlier this week, the publisher held a showcase in San Francisco to exhibit its 2014 lineup. A diverse sampling of games made an appearance - some for the first time since their announcement.

Dark Souls II and Lords of the Fallen won special attention at the event, thanks to their striking art direction and uncompromising combat systems.

But there was much more than tales of dark fantasy to entertain and entice attendees. The latest in Naruto's long-running Ultimate Ninja Storm series was featured, along with a new side-scrolling platformer from developer Suda 51.

If you're craving a punishing challenge and twisted story, look no further than Sid's hands-on experience with Dark Souls II. And read on for the highlights from the rest of Bandai Namco's impressive showing.

In his last moments,...

OlliOlli: How to Score Big in PlayStation Vita's New Skate 'em Up

34w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Justin Massongill reveals to PS Vita fans today how to score big in PlayStation Vita's new skate 'em up title OlliOlli below!

To quote: OlliOlli is out now on PS Vita, and it's getting praise from reviewers left and right.

Newcomers might be put off by its simple, yet highly skill-based trick and landing system, but before long the urge to nail longer (And riskier!) combos will keep you glued to your Vita for hours on end.

I've spent about a week with OlliOlli, during which I've picked up a few tricks for maximizing one's scoring potential on any given stage. This list is by no means comprehensive - these are just notes I've taken over the course of the last week. If I've missed anything, or if you've got your own tips, leave 'em in the comments! Oh, and good luck on that Daily Grind.

Timing is everything

From the moment you first boot up OlliOlli, you need to know that timing your landings and grinds properly is integral to not only getting chart-topping scores, but even finishing stages and completing goals.

A perfect grind will actually give you a small boost in speed, which you'll need in a few later stages to clear otherwise impossible...

35w ago - Today scooby609 reports that he nearly doubled the charge life of his DualShock 4 (DS4) PS4 controller simply by replacing the battery pack with an [Register or Login to view links] DualShock 3 (DS3) battery pack.

Below are the details, to quote: The battery in the DS4 is a 3.65V 1000mAh battery.

The aftermarket DS3 batteries fit perfectly in the DS4 with no modding required!

One I got is a 3.7v 1800mAh battery (the mAh rating is the charge life rating) it cost me under $9 shipped!

I have gone from around 8hrs per charge to nearly 14hrs per charge with the new battery!
