133w ago - Update: According to 4news.it (and IGN UK), the official release dates of Gran Turismo 5 for PS3 are: November 26 in EU (including Italy), November 27 in the US and November 30 in the UK.

Last month we reported that Gran Turismo 5 for PS3 was delayed but would arrive before Christmas, and today Hrabi at GTPlanet.net appears to have confirmed that sharing some pictures of what appears to be a leaked EUR GT5 PlayStation 3 game, box art and GT5 PS3 Trophies.

According to NicaGamerz.com, this copy is made in Austria where it was apparently given to reviewers and leaked, followed by a picture of what may be the first person in the world playing Gran Turismo 5 shown below.

136w ago - What is quickly becoming one of the most delayed PS3 titles this year, European Brand Manager Penrose Tackie has announced today that the Gran Turismo 5 PS3 release won't be available on November 3 but will arrive before Christmas this year.

To quote: We are sorry to say that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available on the previously announced release date of November 3rd, but the game will be released before Christmas.

We sincerely apologise to GT fans for the delay, however creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating a racing experience of the highest quality.

We are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches later this year. We'll have more information for you in the near future.

139w ago - Public Relations Manager Alex Armour has announced today that Gran Turismo 5 is preparing to team with Honda in a massive New York Times Square event, as follows:

Gran Turismo fans! If you're in New York this Thursday, we will be part of a major Honda event in the middle of Times Square to celebrate the launch of their CR-Z Sport Hybrid coupe.

In addition to tons of displays, interactive elements, and on-stage entertainment (N.E.R.D.!), we will have a number of racing sleds available for consumers to come by and play the latest build of Gran Turismo 5 in glorious stereoscopic 3D, featuring the all-new CR-Z.

Honda will have a huge 3D Spectacolor screen installed to show off their new "Eclipse" commercial in 3D (at 46th, between Broadway and 7th), and there will be a host of other 3D content that will be showcased at the event.
