To quote: We've got a one-two punch for PlayStation Plus members tomorrow, when Remember Me (PS3) and Street Fighter x Tekken (PS Vita) join the Instant Game Collection.

Street Fighter x Tekken contains a character roster that pulls from two of the most iconic fighting games around, so pick a fighter from the legendary Street Fighter or Tekken series and get to battling it out with your friends. Video: Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry Standalone Version Out 2/18

50°
25w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Gabriel Graziani shared a video today announcing that the Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry Standalone Version is officially out on February 18, 2014.

To quote: Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry, originally released as a DLC add-on to Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, is launching later this month as a standalone game for PS3 and PS4. Now's the perfect time to set sail as a master assassin!

In Freedom Cry, you assume the role of Adewale, a former slave rescued by pirates and trained in the ways of the assassin. After finding himself stranded in what is now known as Haiti, Adewale joins the battle for freedom in support of a slave rebellion... but how will he balance his newfound cause against his obligations to the Assassin Order?

The Standalone Edition of Freedom Cry offers:

• Brutal Assassin: Beyond an exceptional sailor and pirate, Adewale is a melee master, wielding devastating weapons such as his signature machete and deadly blunderbuss.
• Unique Environment: Port au Prince, Haiti serves as the verdant backdrop as you rebuild the Maroon slave resistance in an attempt to overthrow the deeply-entrenched slave trade.
• Peril on The High Seas: Command the Experto Crede,...

PlayStation Plus: Outlast and Metro: Last Light Free for Members

50°
25w ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer is here with the new PlayStation Plus content updates, which include Outlast and Metro: Last Light free for PS Plus members.

To quote: We're kicking off February with a little something for everyone, regardless of what PlayStation console(s) you own. PS4 owners can give themselves a good scare by nabbing Outlast, a survival horror game where you'll play as a freelance journalist investigating a psychiatric hospital. Not really a job I'd take, but hey, times are tough.

There's no fighting back in Outlast, you can climb or hide, and that's it, so proceed with caution. If you're a PS3 owner, you'll be able to explore post-apocalyptic Russia in Metro: Last Light.

A first-person shooter with the option to be stealthy, your decisions throughout the game will impact the story's outcome. Finally, our PS Vita Play sale also continues this week with Dustforce, which you can grab for $7.99.

You can download Outlast and Metro: Last Light after PlayStation Store updates tomorrow.
