212w ago - PlayStation Home Online Community Specialist Locust_Star has shared news today of a special Thanksgiving Event in PlayStation Home and an Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Fortune Hunter Edition contest.
To quote: This Thanksgiving, you'll want to spend every spare moment in the ever-evolving world of PlayStation Home.
Starting this week, a new mini-game will appear in Central Plaza, occupying the space generally reserved for Saucer Pop. This Thanksgiving-themed game will only be live for a limited time and will prove to be one of the most addictive, action-packed, and ridiculously fun activities going on in PlayStation Home.
The premise is simple: in celebration of the impending Turkey Day, users will approach the giant stone turkey in Central Plaza and, of course, pledge their allegiance to the almighty Meleagris Gallopavo by stating "Gobble gobble" and/or other assorted turkey-isms.
If your homage pleases your turkey overlord, you will be given a chance to chase a bunch of wily turkeys around Central Plaza (word to the wise: these turkeys are quite cunning and as such get progressively more difficult to catch as the game goes on, so you'd better bring appropriate footwear).
If you can manage to catch them all, you will unlock some truly hilarious rewards...

To quote: If you are like us, you've marked your calendars and informed all and sundry that, come November 10, you will be shirking your day-to-day responsibilities in favor of tossing flashbangs and dropping brass on any and all opponents in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

218w ago - Sony Social Media Senior Specialist Chris Morell has shared a video today unveiling some of the prizes from the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves San Francisco Cinema Event.
To quote: Last night, four Uncharted 2: Among Thieves cinema events simultaneously took place across the country, one of them on our very own home turf of San Francisco. It was a night packed full of fun, surprises, special guests and crazy excitement.
For starters, fans (100 of you, to be exact!) and media were greeted by UNCHARTED 2 on the big screen upon entering San Francisco's Landmark theater. From there, a brand new section of the game's single-player campaign (in the snowy Himalayas) was shown and introduced by Naughty Dog Creative Director Amy Hennig, who then shocked the crowd by announcing that everyone would be going home with a copy of the game... eight days early!
Needless to say, the place erupted. Shortly after, we caught up with Amy about the whole experience.
From there, a multiplayer tournament kicked off on a never-been-played map, with a Fortune Hunter Edition up for grabs to the winner. Emotions ran high (take that, people trying to watch the French indie flick next door!) and we discovered that many of you have definitely been practicing...
