Warframe on PS4: Update 12 Adds New Warframe, Weapons, Mode

7w ago - Digital Extremes Associate Producer Pat Kudirka announced today that the latest Warframe Update 12 on PS4 adds new Warframe weapons and modes on PlayStation 4 with details below.

To quote: It's been a long time coming, but Update 12 is here! The Warframe team is extremely (dare I say Digital Extremely...*crickets*) excited to not only bring Update 12 to our existing PS4 players, but also to our newly added Warframe fans in Japan.

They just got a taste on their Day 1 launch. This is another big update that includes a new Warframe, new weapons, a new game mode, and my personal favorite; a badass new HUD!

Zephyr: The Air-Based Warframe

For Update 12, we really wanted to introduce a Warframe like no other, and we believe we accomplished that with Zephyr, the air-based Warframe. Lighter than all other Warframes, Zephyr uses this to her advantage to increase her mobility, but also to complement her vicious attacks.

New HUD

Now I know sometimes it's hard to adapt to change, but bear with me here. Our new, stylized, in-game HUD is something every Tenno will enjoy. This HUD is less obtrusive, contains more information for the player and their squad, and we offer a handful of new customizable options to tinker with.

7w ago - Following up on his previous version, today PlayStation 3 developer wborland0 has updated PS3 Game List Manager to version v3.1 for Windows x64 with the changes below.

Download: ps3gl_v3.1.rar

To quote from his blog: PS3 Game List v3.1

Yet another revision bringing PS3 Game List to v3.1. As mentioned before, the main goal was to work on the application engine so it could better accommodate upcoming changes. Roughly, it means tons of fixes, and game data loading up to 80% faster.

This version implements a new feature: UDF (ISO 13346) file system support. In addition to loading ISO 9660 files, users can both create and load UDF 2.50 ISO images of their game folders. PS3GL now supports loading split ISO images as well.

Moreover, the app now fully supports Unicode characters in game folders (finally no more errors while loading data or mass renaming).

Check the changelog below for all the 3.1 features.

As usual, feel free to suggest something new, and, if you happen to find any bugs, please report them as well.

7w ago - Sony's Jawad Ashraf of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN updates below, which include Thief, Ys: Memories of Celceta and more!

To quote: First up this week is Thief, on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Step into the silent shoes of Garrett, a dark and solitary thief with an unrivalled set of skills.

Lurk through the shadows and choose your method to take down guards. The most challenging heists, the most inaccessible loot, the best kept secrets; nothing is out of your reach.

Also keeping with the dark setting this week is Basement Crawl. Enter the basement, explore dark, sinister arenas and be at one with the insanity. Fight with - or against - your friends in intensive, action packed online and offline game modes.

PlayStation Store also welcomes Adol, the loveable red haired chap who seems to have a thing for showing up in an unfortunate state in most of his games. Ys: Memories of Celceta on PS Vita is Falcom's own retelling of the Japanese exclusive title Ys IV.

It's now time to guide Adol through the expansive region of Celceta and maybe have more women fall for his courage and bravery.

Elsewhere on the store this week - keep an eye out for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, and a fistful...

9w ago - Sony's Jawad Ashraf of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN Game Store updates, which include Strider, Rayman Legends and Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry.

To quote: Any old-timers among you can give a warm welcome back to Strider today, available on PS4 and PS3. Hiryu has been absent in our world for quite some time, outside of an appearance in the Marvel vs Capcom series.

But this week he has a game all to himself. Zip and cartwheel around with his signature Cypher in hand, and generally have a bit of a crazy time dodging enemy projectiles.

Also available this week for PS4 is the gorgeous Rayman Legends. It's more 2D platforming fun to get involved with, so if you missed it on PS3 and PS Vita and need some lush cartoon visuals on your new hardware then gobble this up. There's no reason to miss out on a great game now.

And that's not all. Check out 8-bit inspired Gunslugs for PS Vita, tasty JRPG Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God and the first beta for the huge Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PS4.

Lastly, our February Price Cuts are still going strong and become even stronger today with the inclusion of Knack and Tearaway. There's just one week left to take advantage of terrific prices.
