177w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has revealed to PS3 and PSP fans today the itinerary and details of the Comic-Con 2010 agenda, which takes place this week from July 22nd through July 25th in San Diego, California.
To quote: "So, where exactly are the comics at Comic-Con?" That's what I wondered when I attended my first San Diego Comic-Con a few years back.
Comic-Con may have been all about pulp and capes once upon a time, but these days it's more of a celebration of geek/pop culture: sci-fi TV shows, action movies, and, of course, video games.
So for those of you attending this mega conference (about 125,000 last year), I've put together a primer of the PlayStation presence at the San Diego Convention Center (and beyond).
The PlayStation Booth
We're booth #4237, right next to our friends at SOE, and a stone's throw from Capcom and WB. Play E3 favorites like LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3, Gran Turismo 5 (in glorious 3D), The Sly Collection, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, a host of PlayStation Move titles, and more. Plus, we've always got cool giveaways and schwag!

"LittleBigPlanet 2 @ SDCC: Want a Team Sackboy Vampire shirt? Come by the LBP2 area and show us a pic of Spider-Man Sackboy! First 25 ppl gets em!"
We hope you're enjoying last weeks LBP DLC. The PSP's Heroes in Uniform pack has a great collection of goodies themed around the emergency services teams that make sure we're safe every day. And on the PS3, we know many of you are enjoying the first two packs from Marvel - the Marvel Level Kit & Marvel Character Pack #1.

228w ago - Insomniac Games Community Relations Manager James Stevenson has outlined a recap of Comic-Con 2009 Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time footage today.
To quote: We led off with some exclusive videos that those of you playing at home won't be able to see until the final game releases, one involving Captain Qwark, and the other an unlockable video about the Agorian Warriors.
Allgeier and company then discussed the story, and its theme of "throwing caution to the wind," especially relating to the effect of Ratchet being with an older Lombax for the first time. One of the early highlights involved a verbal spar between Taylor and Shimerman, using the voices of Ratchet and Dr. Nefarious, respectively, as they sat together on stage talk about Nefarious's temperament issues.
Discussion then turned to Clank and his whereabouts after being kidnapped at the end of Tools of Destruction. Bernal revealed that Clank is being held at the center of the universe (give or take fifty feet), in a secret facility known as the Great Clock. Clank gains new time abilities and has some brand new indie-inspired time gameplay.
Next came a topic that is a series standby: weapons. The beginning of the discussion centered on the Weapons Contest...
