95w ago - LittleBigPlanet Community Coordinator Steven Isbell has posted up a story trailer video today for LittleBigPlanet Karting on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system!

To quote: LittleBigPlanet Karting's newest trailer is here, and it's all about Story Mode. In LittleBigPlanet Karting, LittleBigPlanet is again under siege, this time by a group of ne'er-do-wells known as The Hoard.

These venomous villains have travelled to Craftworld from far, far away on speedy go-karts to seek out and steal its most precious prizes - and it's up to you to stop them. So grip the steering wheel, put the pedal to the metal, and beat those Greedy Gregs back to where they came from!

Tales of Xillia Interview: Namco's RPG Series Gets Bigger & Bigger

98w ago - Sony Blog Manager Fred Dutton has shared an interview today with Namco Bandai on their upcoming Tales of Xillia RPG series video game below.

To quote: Good news for anyone who's been enjoying Namco Bandai's enormous JRPG Tales of Graces F since its launch back in August: its immediate successor, Tales of Xillia, is on its way exclusively to PlayStation 3 in 2013.

We've struggled our way through an hour or so of the original Japanese version, which launched overseas back in 2011, and the 13th entry in the long-running series brings with it a number of significant new innovations for the much-loved franchise.

Duly, we took the time to check in with producer Hideo Baba while in Tokyo last month to find out exactly what fans should expect.

PlayStation Blog: What are the key new additions to the Tales formula since Tales of Graces?

Hideo Baba, Producer: There are many unique features in Xillia but I'd like to emphasise that the battle system is very unique and much improved over the previous title. Also, the portrayal of the game world and its atmosphere has also changed a lot too.

In the previous games the characters were very deformed - they were much shorter - but with Xillia the team has tried to show the characters in realistic proportions...

To quote: LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Launches

LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is now hitting store shelves across the globe and everyone has begun playing through Sackboy's new adventure in Carnivalia, creating some brand new games on their moon and some have even begun to publish their own brand new portable games for the community to play!

The LittleBigPlanet PS Vita community is already filling up with loads of amazing user-created games and levels, so be sure to get online and check out just what the community has to offer.

And how exactly would you go about finding all those great levels? Well, we have just the thing for you...

100w ago - Tarsier Studios Community Coordinator Simon Rosenkotter has posted up a new LittleBigPlanet PS Vita trailer today along with some early review highlights below.

To quote: As some of you may have seen already, copies of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita have been popping up early at various retailers.

If you've been lucky enough to snag a copy, I hope you're enjoying the early access! Keep in mind, the servers won't go live until September 18th, so online play won't be available for another day, but you can still play the game offline in its entirety.

And now that you're beginning to dig into Sackboy's latest mobile adventure, we have a whole bunch of goodies and treats to show you.

LittleBigPlanet PS Vita has been developed by Tarsier Studios and Double Eleven with a brand new story that takes place not on Craftworld, but on the travelling planet of Carnivalia.

Once the bringer of joy and laughter, Carnivalia has now been taken over by the mysterious Puppeteer and his evil henchmen, the Hollows! Now it creates joy only to steal it all back again. So, it's up to Sackboy to save the Omniverse when the game officially launches in North America on September 25th!

103w ago - LittleBigPlanet Karting Community Coordinator Michael Buffaloe is here with some fresh video footage of LittleBigPlanet Karting alongside pre-order details below.

To quote: This summer from June 25th to 29th, seven of our LittleBigPlanet community super creators joined the LittleBigPlanet Karting team at [Register or Login to view links] for a Game Jam to help test drive Sackboy's fastest and most competitive adventure yet.

During their stay, they Played a variety of the built-in tracks, Created using LittleBigPlanet Karting's revolutionary 3D Create mode, and Shared their thoughts and opinions with all of us here at the studio, so that we could utilize their feedback to help shape LBPK into the best game possible.

On the last few days of the visit, we took the opportunity to document their experiences and get their take on LBPK as a whole, so that we could turn their impressions into a video and share it with our fans.

So, in honor of PAX Prime this weekend - a show designed for the fans - we're happy to present the finished product with all of you. Enjoy!
