288w ago - NeoCrisis Staff Member Ryan was able to get a few details about God of War 3 as follows:
The graphics will be insane! It will feel like the game is real, or well really happening. The graphics will go well with the gameplay, the grapics wont take the attention away from the action. One word... amazing.
The gameplay will be like no other God of War game. I heard that it will have a new fighting system. I've also heard of a free roam option in a few places but it's not confirmed, in other words if they run out of money, no free roam.
It will have a new storyline, whole new missions. Might have about 5 or 6 parts (depends on the storyline) and each part will have 5 acts (like Gears of War 2). They might allow you to play as multiple main characters. Unlike the other God of War games the final boss/bosses will be way harder if the storyline is easy.
They might allow you to cuztomize your chracter and create custom weapons. They might have the basic team deathmatch and other game modes. Really fun!
Great online help (Staff, administration etc.)
291w ago - This is a direct translation from the original Japanese Famitsu article linked above. Siren: New Translation is the Japanese release title for the game available in Japan on 7/24 this year for 5980 yen. Siren: Blood Curse will be the US release title.
-Those that weaved the nightmare:
The "Siren" series has always been based on various Japanese cultures and folklores. The base concept for this new game is "looking in from a different cultural perspective", with new characters giving the first game of the series a new translation. This is a introduction to two of those new characters that will appear in the game.
August 3, 2007. An American television crew has suddenly lost contact while covering their story in the deep mountains of Japan. The well-beings of the missing crew are still unknown. Up until the crew completely lost their contact, they were reporting on "found traces of human sacrifice" in the remains of a village which supposedly was wiped out by a land-slide in 1976. The name of that village was Hanyuda...

292w ago - ATI said a few things about its new upcoming RV770 chips, and as we've said before you can expect RV770PRO with DDR3, RV770XT with DDR5 support and the top end, R700 aka (RV770X2) with two RV770XT chips in a dual-card configuration.
The new GPUs are 55nm and they are actually an architecture shrink chip with minor architectural changes. Of course, just as RV670, they do support DirectX 10.1 and at the same time, they will bring some significant performance improvements compared to the previous RV670 generation.
The new RV770 chip will also have great improvements in power consumption. The launch date is late Q2 2008, most likely June, but real volume availability is expected in early Q3 2008, probably July.
We still don't know the clocks or the official name.
