Crash Commando - New Add-On Content and Free PS3 Patch

269w ago - SCEA Producer Daimion Pinnock has announced that some new Crash Commando add-on content and a free PS3 patch will arrive this week.

To quote: This week we're launching a bunch of new stuff for Crash Commando including a patch, new characters and a new map pack. Here to talk about it is John McLaughlin from Xdev Studio Europe. Keep an eye out for the patch and DLC, launching this Thursday with the PlayStation Store update.

For those seeking to give it a try, to quote: "We're going to explain you the Free60 exploit, which consists in launching decrypted code (hello word) on a Xbox 360 system.

271w ago - Today xZool2k9 has released a video demonstrating the upcoming Free60 Homebrew Exploit for XBox 360 consoles.

The video is available below, and to quote from the caption:

This is the confirmation that the hack announced by Tmbinc is actually working. I have used a sample Cygnos360 V2 I got from Team Cygnos and flashed the hack onto the second NAND. The onboard NAND was untouched by that.

As you can see I can still switch to the NXE dash. When switching to the NAND onboard of Cygnos the blue LED lights up on the USB daughter board. I can then boot straight of that NAND.

Nintendo now brings these creations to life on its Nintendo DSiâ„¢ hand-held system with Flipnote Studioâ„¢, an application that is available now for download at no cost from the Nintendo DSi Shop.

Here's how it works: Users draw an image on the touch screen of the Nintendo DSi system. When they are ready to draw the next image in the sequence, Flipnote Studio shows an outline of the previous image as a reference. Once all the images are in place, the software can animate them as a creation called a Flipnote.

People can add sound to their Flipnotes using the built-in microphone or using sounds they previously recorded...
