68w ago - Senior Producer Jeff O'Connell has revealed on Sony's PlayStation Blog today that Sleeping Dogs officially wakes on PS3 tomorrow!
To quote: It's been a long journey. Even now, it's hard to believe that Sleeping Dogs launches tomorrow.
It's a little odd given how the game is primarily a single player experience, but I think it's as we start seeing the online leaderboards fill up that the reality sets in: we made it.
It's obviously not the end of our time with the world we spent over five years piecing together, but it definitely marks a turning point - the time when we release a game once named Black Lotus, then True Crime: Hong Kong and finally Sleeping Dogs to you.
From here on Sleeping Dogs isn't living inside a bubble, but instead exists as a part of gaming's ever-growing cultural canvas. How big a part is in your hands - rest assured we have poured our hearts and souls into making our protagonist Wei's world one we feel you will enjoy.
Up to now we've seen a lot of focus on the systems we have crafted - the combat, the driving, the social hub - but we're most excited to see how people receive the story. Wei Shen's triad odyssey is the glue that holds all these other tasty parts together.
With it, Sleeping Dogs goes from being a collection...
69w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein went hands-on today with Persona 4 Golden for the PlayStation Vita video game portable console.
To quote: There's never been a better time to be a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series.
Persona 4 Arena has just arrived on our shores this week, taking the venerable RPG franchise into 2D fighting game territory (and successfully so).
This fall, one of the PS2′s most highly regarded games is coming to PS Vita with Persona 4 Golden. Even if you're new to the series, as I am, there's never been a better time to get into it.
As a recent inductee into the Persona universe (via Persona 3 Portable on PS Vita), I eagerly took up Atlus on the opportunity to sample a work-in-progress edition of Persona 4 Golden last week.
The first thing you're likely to notice about P4G is how good this game looks. It's not surprising that a PS Vita game would look better than a PS2 or PSP game, but the sharpness and contrast of the visuals on "dat screen" are dramatically better than anything the series has seen.
While a lot of the static character art isn't new (especially that of the Personae, which are largely the same as in P3), the crispness of the screen had me thinking...

69w ago - Combat Designer Ray Ray Shen at SuperBot Entertaintment has shared a video today of some PaRappa strategies for PlayStation All-Stars below.
To quote: I'm Ray Ray Shen, Combat Designer at SuperBot Entertaintment, and it has been a rhythmic ride to
design PaRappa's gameplay in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale!
To pay homage to such an iconic and beloved character, I made sure to do my homework first. Besides thoroughly replaying PaRappa's games, I also checked out his soundtrack, anime, merchandise and advertisements to get a full sense of his appeal.
PaRappa is unique not only because of his paper-like look, but also because of his passion and determination. Without crazy magical powers or heavy weaponry, PaRappa's moveset is based on his energetic, rapid kung-fu moves, his funky skateboard skills and his love of music.
To add an extra flourish, incorporated his biggest crush and motivation in life, Sunny Funny, into some of his actions. PaRappa's groovy charm definitely gives the gameplay a lighthearted spin, such as when he has Boxy Boy generating AP on Down + Circle and asks everyone to join his...
