This week we start off with Sega's Binary Domain, which will now be available to download from our store from today!

Set in a distant future of the year 2080, Tokyo has been invaded by robots. Take charge in a battle for humanity and give the machines an ending they did not expect! PS Plus members will have a two week period to purchase a 15% discounted rate.

Discover an eerie, intriguing realm in this unique interactive art experience where little is as ever as it seems and mystery and surprise await your every move.

Hi Everyone - It's a good day to be a PlayStation gamer.

Not only do we get to celebrate the release of Starhawk as well as the news that all future Starhawk map packs will be free (watch this space for when they'll be dropping), we also see a ton of great content arriving on the PlayStation Store!

We start off today's update with the PSN exclusive Datura. Playable with PlayStation Move or your DualShock 3 controller, this adventure will get you immersed into the game's unique experimental narrative and original way of interaction. Experience the world not only visually but also exploration.

In DATURA, the player will experience an incredibly unique scenario. As you play DATURA, you find yourself in a forest.  As you explore this environment, you will be presented with different scenarios in which you have to make a choice, which will determine your end result.

Gran Turismo fans, start your engines! Back again for 2012, we're happy to release the new Gran Turismo Academy (released Tuesday 1st May). Take on your friends and GT fans across Europe for your chance to train as a real-life racer.

Featuring new challenges released over regular intervals, the Top 16 drivers at the end of the final round will go on to compete in the individual National Finals events, with the best then selected for Race Camp at Silverstone - where they will drive a real Nissan sports car.

Skullgirls, an all-new 2D beat 'em up from Konami, is finally here to add even more spice to the fighting game community. Created with tournament-level play in mind, Skullgirls is a fresh new game giving the player a colourful cast of characters with some zany gameplay!

Frobisher Says! A new free app that'll make your head spin. Filled with crazy mini-games utilising the many features of the Vita system, take on Frobisher's challenges on your own or pass around your Vita with 8 people to see who can get the highest score. Video: Sony Announces GT Academy 2012 Begins Today, Promo

120w ago - Sony Associate Product Manager Ken Chan has announced that GT Academy 2012 officially begins on PlayStation Store today alongside a Season 2 promo video below.

To quote: It's the moment aspiring race drivers have been waiting for: GT Academy 2012 is available now! If you think you have what it takes, go to PlayStation Store and download the free demo of GT Academy 2012 right now.

That's right - you don't need to have a copy of Gran Turismo to play and compete!

This national competition, designed to turn the best Gran Tursimo players into real-life race drivers, welcomes players of all experience levels. Each participant will compete in a series of virtual trials, piloting Nissan cars, over an eight-week period in 40 different events.

Each round features five events that players can retry as many times as they want. Only the fastest lap times will be recorded and ranked. Rounds 1 and 2 are the first set of trials to open, and Polyphony Digital will release subsequent rounds every two weeks.
