158w ago - Today Ubisoft PR Coordinator Alex Monney has announced that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Trilogy is coming to PS3 with 3D!

To quote: For the last few months, we've been working on bringing the first three Splinter Cell games - Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - to the PS3.

Splinter Cell and Sam Fisher don't need an introduction; these three games are highly acclaimed games and it has been a great pleasure for us to work on these titles.

The PS3 Game

When we started this project, one of our main goals was to provide the players with the best possible content. Hence we decided to port the game from the PC version which had more content and detail compared to the PS2 version.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Trilogy on PS3 will include:

• Graphics in HD resolution
• 3D Stereoscopic support for 3D TVs
• Some exciting and challenging Trophies

Let's take a quick trip down memory lane and talk briefly about the gameplay and original titles.

158w ago - Sucker Punch Productions' Brian Fleming has shared a video today spotlighting InFamous 2: The Quest for Power on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.

To quote: Today I'm here to talk about everyone's favorite topic: powers! More specifically, how does Cole manage to improve on is already impressive set of electrical abilities?

For those of you who don't know the original inFAMOUS story, Cole's electrical powers appear when he's caught in the blast of a mysterious device called the Ray Sphere.

Cole gains more and more abilities, becomes more and more powerful, and survives the gauntlet of Empire City... but he also is given a glimpse into his future. He realizes that even at the height of his powers, he is no match for the challenge that awaits. A battle with a great Beast looms, and Cole isn't ready to face it.

So in inFAMOUS 2, Cole travels South to New Marais to trace a path to the man behind the Ray Sphere technology, Dr. Sebastian Wolfe. With buddy Zeke riding shotgun, they set off to find the key to the next step in Cole's evolution and a new level of power- powers that will be necessary if Cole hopes to survive the upcoming battle.

When Cole and Zeke eventually track down Dr. Wolfe, he explains...

New Resident Evil Revealed in PlayStation: The Official Magazine

200°
158w ago - Today Editor in Chief Gary Steinman of the PlayStation: The Official Magazine has revealed news of a new Resident Evil for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system alongside a video trailer below!

To quote: Who needs to wait for E3? It's a month of massive reveals in the May issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine.

We start with our cover story, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

First, a quick note about what Raccoon City is not. Raccoon City is not a survival horror game. Go on–let that sink in for a second. Yes, the granddaddy of survival horror breaks from the very thing that's defined it for over 15 years, instead delivering a wholly unique squad-based shooter experience, with the talented folks at Slant Six now handling the development duties.

We saw the game in action and survived to tell a tale of shambling zombies, elite operatives, and a mission to "kill Leon." Indeed, nothing is sacred here, including the long-standing heroes of the Resident...
