157w ago - Today thegamersheep has shared a video via YouTube of ModNation Racers PS3 being unboxed, and the Examiner.com (linked above) has confirmed that the PlayStation 3 video game requires 3.2GB of free space for installation on the PS3 HDD.

The upcoming kart racing game in development by United Front Games for the PlayStation 3 (and PSP) is set for an official release on May 21st in Europe and May 25th of 2010 in North America.

To quote: "Coming packed with Sackboy character mod and LittleBigPlanet themed kart, ModNation is all about customization and player creation.

ModNation Racers PS3 will require 3.2 GB of HDD space. Considering the scope of the game, this really isn't that bad. With dozens of items, mods, and tools at your disposal, this installation is minor in size for this kind of title."

157w ago - SCEA Producer Kumi Yuasa has announced today that the Echochrome Soundtrack is coming to PSN Store alongside a gallery PSP demo.

To quote: Today, I'm very excited to announce that the Echochrome soundtrack will actually be available for download on May 18th from the PlayStation Store!

Echochrome's music soundtrack is a departure from traditional games, featuring string quartet compositions that combine classical music with modern musical sensibilities. The original score is composed by Hideki Sakamoto of noisycroak Inc.

Echochrome Original Soundtrack
Contains 12 original tracks from the game, plus one all-new bonus track.

158w ago - Today Namco Bandai Games has announced that Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team will be hitting the Sony PSP in North America, and confirmed that Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast 2 will also be arriving on the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 consoles later this year.

To quote: "For the first time ever, Dragon Ball Z fans can enter into a two on two combat in Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team for the PSP.

The game offers a solo or an Ad Hoc miltiplyer mode to tackle memorable battles with the favorite Draogn Ball Z characters. New modes such as Dragon Walker, Battle 100, and Survival mode will be made available in Tenkaichi Tag Team.

With the new Raging Soul System, characters are allowed to reach a special state, increasing their combat abilities to the ultimate level. Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 will have more than 90 characters, 20 of which are brand new to the Raging Blast series.
