PSN Download Manager with Automatic PS3 Game Updater Plugin

162w ago - Just a small update, to announce the very first plugin / extension is out for the PlayStation Download Manager as requested by users, this is a small sample of the PS3 Automatic Game Updater / LVC - Latest Version Checker.

It currently will not automatically update your games, but will demonstrate the features that will be included in the Automatic Game Updater extension / plugin due for release in the next week.

Current Features:
1) Can locate the latest update for a PS3 Game
2) Ability to search via the BCES / BLES / BLUS Code
3) Initiate the download on the PS Download Manager 3.92

There will be an update to this extension / plugin, that will turn it into the Automatic Game Updater as this will be the very core behind it.

162w ago - Ubisoft PR Coordinator Alex Monney has announced that Outland is now on PSN, and shared some Behind-the-Scenes Housemarque video footage on the title below.

To quote: The day has finally come and we are ecstatic to have released Outland on the PlayStation Network. To quote: Music fans are in for a treat; starting today for a limited time, eligible Playstation 3 owners* can try out a Basic subscription of Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for free over the next 180 days.

The timing couldn't be better - the service's Android App also launched today, so users can enjoy music on the go with their compatible Android mobile device or on a number of other Internet-connected Sony devices including 2010 and 2011 models of network-enabled BRAVIA HDTVs, Blu-ray Disc players and Blu-ray Disc Home Theater systems as well as the PSP and personal computers including VAIO personal computers.

Rage from iD Software for PlayStation 3: E3 2011 Hands-On

The veteran development studio behind classics such as Doom and Quake is preparing to unleash its next big shooter, Rage, this October. And at E3 2011, the storied studio presented a wildly diverse group of missions from the post-apocalyptic adventure to try out on the PS3 version of the game.

First things first: Rage looks fantastic. As id Software's graphics guru John Carmack recently [Register or Login to view links], Rage may very well surprise gamers who expect the PS3 version to play second-fiddle to the PC version.

Rage is one of the sharpest-looking games I've seen in a long time, with the developer's new id Tech 5 engine really stealing the show.
