253w ago - An audio bug that got into the works when the NXE dashboard update was released has now been fixed.
To quote: Next time you fire up your Xbox 360 you'll download an update with patches a problem some users have had with audio since the release of the NXE several months ago.
"Starting Tuesday morning at 0200 Pacific when you sign into Xbox Live you'll be prompted for a mandatory dashboard update," Microsoft Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb explained. "The update addresses the issue that a few folks were having with audio and their HDMI connection."
"This update will be rolled out to all Xbox LIVE members around the world over the space of a few hours, so you may not get prompted for the update immediately. Thanks for your patience."
256w ago - Microsoft has urged gamers to delete the leaked Midnight Club: LA DLC that appeared on the XBox Live Marketplace last night.
Apparently, if you leave it on your system then you run the risk of incurring unspecified problems.
To quote: If you downloaded the Midnight Club: LA add-on content that appeared on the Xbox Live Marketplace last night, Microsoft urges you to delete it as soon as possible, lest you risk unspecified "problems."
"The Marketplace team has mentioned to me that a batch of Midnight Club: LA content went up accidentally on Xbox LIVE Marketplace this morning. It has since been removed, but you may have had the chance to download it while it was up there," writes Xbox EMEA community manager Graeme Boyd on his Official blog.
"If you did and if it's sitting on your hard drive you should delete it -- reason being that it was being tested when it was mistakenly put live and therefore it may not work properly, the Achievements won't register and could cause you problems with your Midnight Club: LA game saves."
There's currently no word on when the DLC will reappear on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
