MoneyPaw Games: Retro Import Hyper Crazy Climber Out Next Week

50°
32w ago - MoneyPaw Games PR Manager Ryan Olsen announced today that retro import Hyper Crazy Climber is out on PSN next week with details below.

To quote: MonkeyPaw Games has another import retro title ready. You better have a good grip because you'll be climbing your way to the stratosphere. Our newest game is Hyper Crazy Climber, a series that has roots all the way back to the start of arcades.

Hyper Crazy Climber is a sequel to Crazy Climber. As you likely guessed, with Hyper Crazy Climber the challenges are more hyper, crazier, and climb...ier.

The goal for each level is to start at the bottom of a tower and navigate the level while avoiding obstacles to reach the top. It might not sound too difficult, but that isn't the case at all.

The controls were designed to be difficult to master, and you'll need to operate the left and right side of your character independently to reach the summits.

It'll take expert hand-eye coordination to gracefully climb your way to the peak of beanstalks, clock towers, and other tall structures.

Hyper Crazy Climber originally launched in Japan in 1996 for the PSone. It's a continuation of the arcade games, and the first time a new entry in the Crazy Climber series found a home on consoles.

Seaven Studio: Ethan: Meteor Hunter Comes to PS Vita Next Week

100°
32w ago - Seaven Studio Co-founder Olivier Penot announced today that Ethan: Meteor Hunter comes to PS Vita next week.

To quote: The first day we showed you guys Ethan: Meteor Hunter, all you asked was to get a PS Vita version.

That was a shame for the PS3 version we released back in October, and yet, you had our attention. Today we're happy to announce Ethan: Meteor Hunter will launch next week on April 15th for $9.99.

If you're a player of great taste who already bought Ethan on PS3, then you have nothing to worry about - it's cross buy, so no extra dime to spend. To catch up, we have a wonderful opportunity for PS Plus members who can claim a 20% discount, only available for one week.

So, why would you buy Ethan: Meteor Hunter on PS Vita? I'm sure you're very skilled gamers who like tough challenges, the "just one more try" kind, so you'll be very pleased with Ethan.

He's a rat who has superpowers, just like the comic books we read. He can freeze time and move objects around to get through challenging platforms and mind-bending, physics-based puzzles.

Physics based also mean that in Ethan: Meteor Hunter you can get through obstacles the way you want. Nothing is scripted.

You might think "This seems to be a perfect match for the PS Vita"...

50°
40w ago - MoneyPaw Games PR Manager Ryan Olsen introduces Retro Rush on PSN: week 6 which features Tomba! 2 with details below.

To quote: It has been a wild and fun six weeks releasing classic game after classic game with the Retro Rush. What's the Retro Rush?

We've been releasing a new import PSone Classic on the PSN for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PSP. So far, the Retro Rush has included Double Dragon, Lucifer Ring, The Firemen 2: Pete and Danny and Wolf Fang.

We've gotten a lot of great response from everyone and it's made us happy to see these games being enjoyed again.

However, the Retro Rush has all been leading to this point, the game that we've gotten the most requests for out of any other game we've released: Tomba! 2. Tomba! 2 is a title we've wanted to release for the longest time but we've had to overcome some technical hurdles first.

On February 18th, you can download the Japanese import version of Tomba! 2 for your PS3, PS Vita and PSP. Since the title is in Japanese, we'll be providing a complete walkthrough on our [Register or Login to view links] for players.

Tomba!, for those who are just learning of our wild jungle boy, was created by Tokuro Fujiwara, who many gamers will recognize having a hand in other classic...
