9w ago - Sony's Brian Lindley announced today that Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare hits PS4 and PS3 consoles on August 19, 2014.

To quote: Greetings PlayStation fans! Ever since we announced Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare at E3 last year, we've frequently heard the question: "When is PvZ Garden Warfare coming to PlayStation?"

I'm ecstatic to finally be able to answer that question, as we've just announced that PvZ Garden Warfare is coming to PS3 and PS4 on August 19th, 2014! PlayStation fans will also be able to experience the Garden Variety and Zomboss Down expansion content from day one.

To quote: The exploit game MyStylist is currently still available at the PSN store (this will most likely change in the next 12-36 hours), but the developer of said VHBL, 173210, asked us to release the files by now.

Usually we wait until the game got removed, but not this time, feel free to download the files below.

New PS Vita Exploited Game MyStylist Runs VHBL on Firmware 3.15

100°
10w ago - Following up on the PS Vita 3.15 System Software Update, today Wololo announced that the new exploited game by 173210 to run VHBL on Firmware 3.15 is MyStylist with details and a preview video below.

To quote: We announced a few weeks ago that we would release a new port of VHBL to firmware 3.15. VHBL is a homebrew loader for the PS Vita. It lets you run fan-made games and emulators on your PS Vita. In order to run, VHBL needs an “exploit” which requires users to purchase a specific game on the PSN Store. For more details on VHBL, check our VHBL page.

Developer 173210, famous for having ported VHBL to several game exploits in the past, is back at it with a new exploit, and he is kind enough to share his port with us. The game is only available on the Japanese store, and is unfortunately not compatible with the VitaTV.

However, 173210 believes that the exploit in this game cannot easily be patched by Sony, making it a somewhat unique exploit on the vita scene. 173210 had previously released such exploits for the game Pawapuro, but circumstances were different, as that game had already been removed from the PSN before he had announced the exploit.

Valiant Hearts: A More Personal War Story Coming to PS4 and PS3

50°
10w ago - Sony Content Manager Ed Casey made available a video showcasing Valiant Hearts stating it's a more personal war story which is coming to PS4 and PS3 consoles.

To quote: Valiant Hearts: The Great War is not the type of war story we're used to seeing in games.

Instead of focusing on soldiers, Valiant Hearts spotlights the lives of ordinary people thrust into an impossible, unbearable situation, and tells a personal and touching story set against the chaotic backdrop of World War I.

In this Developer Diary the Valiant Hearts team discusses the origins of the game and the research involved in creating the characters and atmosphere.

Combining real stories and World War I history with imagination and a unique art style they tell a story of love, loss, and adventure unlike any other.

You'll get to experience this story for yourself very soon, as the game will debut on PS4 and PS3 on June 24.

11w ago - Sony Associate Producer Dais Kawaguchi shared details today on Freedom Wars: The World of Panopticon coming to PS Vita below.

To quote: It's been a few weeks since we made the announcement for the North American release of Freedom Wars, and we're overwhelmed with all the positive comments we've been seeing! Today, we'd like to dive deeper into the world of Freedom Wars on PS Vita.

In PT Era 102014, the earth has been devastated by atmospheric pollution and the world is running out of resources. Human beings can only survive inside purpose-built facilities known as Panopticons.

City-states across the world fight each other to take control of what is left, using these Panopticons to take over other competing regions. You take on the role of prisoner in this Panopticon facility, subject to a million-year sentence.

When the story begins, the main character finds himself in a cell with no recollection of where - or who - he is. An Android, also referred to as an "Accessory" throughout the game, is sent to brief him on his fate. The Accessory tells the protagonist that he must fight massive Abductors to reduce his million-year sentence.

Abductors...
