To quote: The post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller Priest hits New Releases this week at a hot low price! Featuring Paul Bettany (The Tourist), Karl Urban (Star Trek), and Cam Gigandet (Easy A), the story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities.

Video: Evolution of OpenPStore for PS3 JFW DH Custom Firmware

171w ago - Following up on their previous progress, today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has posted an update alongside a video from Conadote of OpenPStore for the upcoming PS3 JFW-DH Custom Firmware.

While OpenPStore will offer PlayStation 3 homebrew applications and file downloads, they have confirmed it will not be a replacement for Sony's PlayStation Store on PSN.

Video: Sony Announces Move.me App Hits PlayStation Store Today

174w ago - Sony Developer Support Senior Engineer John McCutchan announced that their new PS3 Move.me software application hits the PlayStation Store today, and is free to both students and educators!

To quote: At this year's Game Developers Conference we unveiled Move.me, a new software application that runs on the PS3 system and gives researchers, students, and programmers access to PlayStation Move's technology for developing apps beyond traditional gaming – physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, or education.

Move.me enables anyone with a PS3 to experiment with PlayStation Move and create new applications using a PC, the PlayStation Move motion controller, the PlayStation Eye camera, and the PS3 system.

Later today, Move.me will be available as a complimentary download for members of Academia including Academic researchers, faculty, staff, and students. Interested participants can apply for the Academia Program here. For all other users, Move.me will be available later today on the PlayStation Store for $99.99.

188w ago - Today Associate Product Marketing Manager Brian Dunn has shared a video confirming that MotorStorm Apocalypse PS3 races to store shelves on May 3, 2011.

To quote: I am pleased to announce that MotorStorm Apocalypse will be in stores across North America beginning May 3.

That means that in just a few short weeks, you'll be able to get your hands on the most exciting MotorStorm game to date, with more action than a summer Hollywood blockbuster!

I'm also happy to reveal that every new copy of the game will include a voucher for the Premier Pack DLC bundle, which will give you two exclusive in-game vehicles and more (pictured below).

To give you a taste as to what's in store come May 3, take a look at our recent sit-down interview with Game Director Matt Southern as he talks about his vision for MotorStorm Apocalypse and how the game will deliver one of the best racing experiences to date on the PS3:
