Making a demo for a large-scale open world game is a major challenge. We wanted to put together a snapshot of Most Wanted's blend of exploration, connected competition and explosive, over-the-top police chase action to give you a taste of what to expect from the main game.
The action takes place in a locked down version of the city - you get to play in Fairhaven's Downtown and Four Bridges districts. These areas are loaded with billboards, jumps, speed cameras and hidden cars.
The game kicks you off in Aston Martin's beautiful V12 Vantage. Race to the first location, and we'll bust out the classic Porsche 911 Carrera S.

56w ago - Following up on his previous release, this weekend PlayStation 3 developer HDMadness has updated PS3 ErmaC 4.30 CFW to version 1.3 which now includes a completely fixed Demo Mode and more as outlined below!
Again this is not for the PSP but it a PSP emulator, now what makes this stand apart, is that it is open source but it is also multi platform, and by multi platform i mean almost anything out there can run from apple devices to android (yes phones can run it as well) to Windows, to Linux.
There is one slight drawback though it is still in early development and only plays a certain amount of games not full fledged (PPSSPP Compatibility List) but homebrew and certain low end graphical games, however, this does show promise. Read more about this in the quote below.

59w ago - As I hinted on last week, to tie in with my recent fighter packs for Mugen I have decided to work on the other side of Paintown's features which includes the side scrolling beat em up section.
What Jon Rafkind has given us with his game is a virtually easy to use character editor an level creation tool. This is my first dive into game creation and there's been some trial an error moments as well as some ''oh I see'' moments, but my understanding of this is becoming better an better with everyday I spend with this.
So anyway I sat down and decided that I was gonna do a Resident Evil side scroller. I have a lot of ideas that will work well in this mod, Ive even had a few other ideas for some future mods. I can understand why video games take an age to come out, it took me 3 days to put Hunks character together, that's ripping the sprites an putting them into there move folders then converting them one by one to be transparent so the game doesn't show the coloured background behind the sprite.
