For those curious, it's heading to Europe and North America on March 9, 2010.

With everything leading up to the launch, Square-Enix certainly went out with a bang with the trailer.

Some of the trailer features previous footage from older trailers, but a lot of the content is new. With, what appears to be an emotional story, Final Fantasy XIII should be one of the most emotional entries of the legendary saga."

Stephane D'Astous from Eidos has commented, to quote:

"Deus Ex 3 is going to be the first project which will be a concrete product of joint effort between Square Enix and Eidos," said D'Astous.

"The cinematics–by which I mean any CGI pre-rendered cinematics – are going to be done in Tokyo by Square Enix, and that's going to be amazing."

"We already have some pre-visualisations," continued D'Astous. "The people in Tokyo are just so glad to work on it; this is the first project for them that's a non-Final Fantasy title– they even want to work on Thief 4 too, so everyone is really excited."

Shortly following its release, [Register or Login to view links] uncovered the message's meaning as: "Announcement Nov Thirteenth."

To quote: "The nature of this 'announcement' is still up in the air, though our money's on an official North American release date for the super-anticipated RPG.

Though, considering the speed at which the series is growing now, we wouldn't be surprised if Squeenix went ahead and dropped the Final Fantasy XV bomb on us."

Square-Enix Publishing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in Japan?

100°
257w ago - Apparently there is a chance that Square-Enix, RPG giant, famous for the Final Fantasy series is aiding in the publishing of Modern Warfare 2 in Japan.

A new [Register or Login to view links] posted by Square-Enix, shows some Japanese text (sorry I can't read it so I couldn't translate it), and the familiar Modern Warfare "2". Also the legal info at the bottom of the site credits Activision.

This is just my opinion or view on the situation, but I believe that Square-Enix is helping to push Modern Warfare 2 in Japan, due to their strong following and support in the Final Fantasy series.

By selling the product with a widely known name, there is a chance for better coverage and spread of the product as well as targeting the company's main supporters.
